What do you like best about Hyperion?
Smart view is a great tool that can connect to Excel quickly and is used for slicing and dicing the data. Essbase is a powerful multidimensional database that is capable of calculating, consolidating the data rapidly. All the planning and budgeting objects are beneficial for budget users. Hyperion reporting studio would have updated with the latest features.

What do you like best about Hyperion?
Centralised repository for all the budget and forecast-related activity like planning,rollingforecast, workforce budgeting. can connect to multiple disparate systems and bring in data from SAP, ORACLE DB, Oracle GL, Spreadsheets and flatfiles to name a few. It has got a very ELT tool in FDMEE, very strong proven and robust database in essbase, nice presentation layer in planning for meta data mangament Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Hyperion?

What do you like best about Hyperion?
Working in hyperion planning form lasr 12 years a amazing thing. It is a wonderful tool by which yii can manage your forecast and budget, check your actual. You can do driver based planning, you can utilize out of box module provided by Oracle where you can easily maintain yor Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Capex, workforce etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Hyperion?
Oravle support is oweful. If you stuck with an issue, your IT team needs to resolve it. Waiting for Oracle solution will lead you to stop the project as they usually not very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hyperion?
Metadata management was easy when EPMA was around. World recognition of the product. Niche skill set to be marketable. Planning is a fairly stable product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Hyperion?
Oracle support is horrible. Need to escalate just about every ticket due to lack of progress or attention. Product uses old underlying technology (Middleware and Java). Browser support is behind. Still very buggy software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hyperion?
A market leader for OLAP and Multi-dimensional Database. A perfect tool for Planning and Budgeting across all the domains. a widely used tool which do have a great compatibility with all other databases and ETL tools. I feel Oracle EPM is quite robust and user friendly in comparison to other market players .so there is nothing which i can say i don't like about Oracle EPM.
