Site works great and is easy to use. It is super efficient for us to have all of our freight contracts connected so we can easily run quotes with all the carriers we partner with and create the BOL all in one place. Tracking shipments and reconciling billing is much easier as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One nice feature would be the ability to create a BOL template for un-supported carriers not integrated with an API if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how user-friendly it is! It saves me SO much time and energy! It's a stress-free go-to for almost every one of my shipments. Having to use other carrier's websites takes three to four times longer than Freightview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say there's anything that I dislike. I have noticed that I'm not getting as many time-critical options in FreightView as if I book through the actual freight carrier's site. I understand that my pricing comes directly from each of my carriers in FreightView, but I wish I were getting all of the available shipment options too. Maybe there is a way that someone can address this issue soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very user-friendly. Rarely any site outages. Gives rates for inside delivery and lift gates, if you need that option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have on complaints. Everything is good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview is a great way to to have your FAK pricing from various freight companies loaded into one system. We can easily compare prices and make the best freight decision for our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview is very strong with LTL shipment. It still has room for improvement when managing full truck spot quotes. We maintain a list of owner-operators that we contact via email through Freightview as well as a handful of freight brokers. Handling and comparing quotes takes a bit more manual effort. Full truck spot quoting isn't as seamless as the functionality for LTL.
The functionality for correctly formatting BOL's for HazMat shipments is a little clunky. It took us a little bit to figure it out as Freightview did not have the best support documentation for this function. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This has saved us so much time. We used to spend 15 minutes per LTL load comparing prices, then booking it, and doing BOL on top of it. Now it is minutes! You get all of your quotes on one screen, pick one, and then print your BOL. They book it for you too! If you need to track it, anyone can log in and get the PRO.
Almost every carrier has an API that connects ( LTL Carriers) and I have seen more and more get added over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could do Truckloads. The spot quote feature is nice, but not all the carriers are responsive to it.
It seems like a small thing, but we have has a lot of turnovers the last year in the trucking/carriers and you have to manually update your POC's every time.
Not all Carriers work with Freightview in a way that you can print the Carrier BOL, at least 50% of them you have to use the Freightview version. This is overall ok, but it would be nice if they all did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview provides a very simple platform for us to provide quotes to our customers via its API tool and WooCommerce plugin. It's probably the only reliable tool of its kind out there. Additionally, the customer service provided, especially on the technical side of things, has been a life-saver. We were even able to customize this tool to work for our marketplace platform! Well, it was unfortunate that marketplace compatibility isn't an out-of-the-box feature for this plugin. It definitely would have saved a lot of time and energy for us. Additionally, there are some other minor bugs in the user interface for this plugin, especially on the administrator's backend in WordPress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview provides a single source of truth for all our shipments and allows us to choose the most efficient carrier easily. That saves us money and easily pays for itself many times over. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's not much to dislike, but it would be nice if the software could handle batch shipments from a csv file. That feature doesn't currently exist, but perhaps it will be added to their roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In the intricate world of logistics, the difference between success and chaos often hinges on the tools we employ. Before discovering FreightView, I felt like a juggler with too many balls in the air, constantly on the brink of dropping one. Transitioning from multiple 3PLs to this singular TMS service felt like stepping out of a storm and into a sanctuary.
For those unfamiliar with the jargon, 3PL stands for Third-Party Logistics. In the past, I relied on multiple 3PLs to manage different facets of my logistics operations. While they each had their strengths, coordinating between them was a Herculean task. Picture trying to conduct an orchestra where each musician plays by their own rules, and you'll get a sense of the cacophony I was dealing with.
Enter FreightView. From the outset, it was evident that this wasn't just another tool to add to the pile. It was a game-changer. The platform's intuitive design meant that instead of wrestling with disparate systems, I had a unified dashboard that brought everything under one roof. It was like having a bird's-eye view of my entire logistics operation, with the ability to zoom in on any detail at a moment's notice.
One of the standout features for me has been the real-time tracking. In the logistics world, information is currency. Knowing where a shipment is, understanding potential bottlenecks, and being able to communicate accurate ETAs to clients can make or break a business relationship. With FreightView, I've been able to offer my clients a level of transparency that was previously unthinkable. It's not just about tracking; it's about trust. And this platform has been instrumental in bolstering the trust my clients place in my services.
Cost optimization is another area where FreightView shines. By automating route planning and carrier selection, the system ensures that I'm always getting the best bang for my buck. Gone are the days of manual comparisons and gut-feel decisions. Now, I have data-driven insights guiding my choices, leading to tangible savings.
But what truly sets FreightView apart is its scalability. As my logistics needs have evolved, the platform has seamlessly adapted, proving that it's not just a solution for today but a partner for the future.
In conclusion, making the switch to FreightView has been nothing short of transformative. It's taken the complexity of juggling multiple 3PLs and distilled it into a streamlined, efficient, and user-friendly experience. For anyone in the logistics sector feeling overwhelmed by the demands of modern supply chain management, I cannot recommend FreightView highly enough. It's not just a tool; it's peace of mind.
