I would not reccomend Freightview to any company that needs to do international shipping or intermodal shipping. We don't, so its no problem for us.

The platform is very user friendly. We are able to train people to use Freightview for everything from booking shipments to tracking shipments and auditing the invoices with ease. The implmentation process was seemless and we couldn't be happier with our choice in a TMS. Customer support is top notch! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I would say is connectivity with some carriers is not available, but that is partially on the carrier side as well. Expanding integration options would be a great next step in evolving this TMS to become even more useful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview has allowed us to centralize all our LTL freight quoting in one place, instead of checking individual carrier & broker portals - this is a HUGE timesaver, and also helps us make sure we're not missing any options for lower freight rates or faster transit times, depending on what our priority is for each load.
Also appreciate that they are always working on small updates to make things work even better, as well as rolling out new features. Customer support has always been super responsive on the rare occasions we've needed any help.
Super user friendly, and we love the options for generating load labels & Freightview BOLs with a uniform layout regardless of which carrier we are using. This simplifies the shipping process for our warehouse and helps us avoid the confusion of different paperwork for each load - with the Freighview docs, everything is always in the same place & they know exactly where to find the info they need.
For a small business, it's a not insignificant cost, but it is 100% worth it for us. We use it multiple times daily, and we will never, ever go back to the dark days of running the same quote a gazillion times to compare options with our roster of carriers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the rise of online TMS, it seems every 3PL is developing their own LTL quoting platform - while some broker options are available to connect to Freightview, it would be great to see this expanded so we could pull in even more of our freight options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the control that the user has to customize and change the functionalitites on Freightview. This system provides us seamless inbound and outbound shipping and allows all of our shipment data to stay in one place.
The functionality of the search bar is outstanding, giving users several different ways to pull up a past shipment. If you dont know the order number, no problem! you can just type in a zip code, company name, or any of the reference numbers added to the shipment.
The BOL's and labels and very neat and clean, and this system allows users to enter the PRO# into the system right away to gain instant visibility (we PRO all out LTL shipments here ourselves, so I love this feature!)
When we have any problems with Freightview, it could put a major disruption in our businesses operation. The Freightview team, Jarret Whitcomb in particular, has been absolutely AMAZING at getting any issues resolved extremely quickly to keep the workflow going. I would like to see more control over the billing aspect when creating BOL's. We have several different "Bill To" addresses we use and currently there is no feature which allows me to manually remove these billing addresses.
There are more API and tendering issues than I would like to see. However I know all well that this is not always on the Freightview side, its often on the carriers side of things and Freightview resolves these API issues very quickly in my experience.
FedEx Ground pickups do not register to my FedEx.Com account online and this makes canceling or editing FedEx parcel pickups a huge pain. This forces us to call FedEx each time to make these changes and that is a huge time consumer. I would LOVE to see all of the pickups for FedEx Ground tendered on Freightview, transfer over into the FedEx.com database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Freightview makes it easy to quote and book LTL freight from our direct carrier accounts at our carrier-negotiated rates. We book about 10-20 LTL shipments per day, and Freightview has greatly reduced the time it takes to obtain quotes, bringing them all together in one place. Booking is a snap with saved addresses and shipment profiles. The customer service is also excellent - anytime we have had an issue or question, they have replied quickly. We would like to see more LTL carriers added - Freightview currently does not connect with a few of our preferred carriers, including Fedex Freight Direct and Hollywood Delivery Service, which requires us to obtain separate quotes from those carriers directly. We would also like to see the ability to assign a declared value to shipments and/or purchase insurance so that higher value shipments are fully covered in the event of damage or loss - this is a standard feature when quoting directly with most LTL carriers. The system over all is very easy to use, and faster than you might think. We ship daily and my last concern is how much time I need to process the shipments. Quote, select carrier, fill in shipment details, schedule pick up, and print paperwork. That's all there is to it, and it flows from one step to the next with few hiccups. The ease of use throughout the entire platform is unreal. Freightview has the best customer support should anything go wrong, and they are always quick for any resolution. Their new update is a bit challenging to use, I wish there was more flexibility or ways to customize the truckload side of the quoting process...we do not always require a certain type of truck, sometimes several different options are fine and we have to do separate quotes for each option.
