Weekend deference of scheduled runs to Monday Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes for unknown reason (and they've debugged this many times to no avail), your job won't run completely and Monitor will show that it's way more than 100% complete. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very user-friendly to set up jobs. In our organization, We had to set up a lot of SFTP jobs, SSIS package execution schedules. A lot of SSIS packages have a dependency on other SSIS packages. JAMS scheduler has multiple execution methods for scheduling SSIS packages sequentially. We can also add a dependency for the jobs to handle the execution of the jobs. The email alert functionality helps to receive the alerts and log files if any job fails. The JAMS client monitor window is handy to monitor daily jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JAMS WebClient still requires better performance. JAMS monitor is not displaying JAMS job execution status accurately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JAMS has almost all possible ways to automate the file transfer and execution of scripts. The Sequencing feature was helpful in completing the automation easily with the good UI. I felt great about the JAMS support as it was quick and right to the point in fixing the issue. I would recommend for others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I need to use it further more to find dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We can manage JAMS Jobs from a straightforward UI of the application.
We can use it on both Windows and Linux platform.
The Product team of the application is very responsive.
There are many tutorials available for the tool.
I would like to recommend the tool to everyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing of the application is on higher side which has restricted the growth of the application as it has potential otherwise there is no downside in the usuage of JAMS Job Scheduler? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our organization has been using JAMS fro more than a decade. We really like the reliability aspect of the tool. On a couple occasions we suffered HW problems which brought the DB host down in the middle of ETL processing which was orchestrated by JAMS. We were able to fix the HW issues and resume processing like nothing happened. We also like the level of customization in JAMS. On a several occasions JAMS team would implement feature request we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our developers who use JAMS v.6 client reside in remote offices, away from the JAMS Scheduler v.6 engine. We have observed a slight lags between the client and Scheduler engine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managing all our jobs/tasks in a single window is the catch for me. We have several SQL jobs, and the conversion to JAMS was seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
lack of template for bulk job definition import Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have been using JAMS Scheduler since the major upgrade from version 6 to 7. The product has steadily improved with each release. Even more significantly, support for JAMS has been incredibly strong, even when we came across a quirky situation or a bug in the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a learning curve for using various components of JAMS, even for things that seem like they should be straightforward. For example, the projected schedule feature of JAMS Client only shows jobs that started between the dates and times specified for the Time Range. This excludes any jobs that are repeating jobs during that time window if the initial start time of the job precedes the Time Range window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Windows Based scheduler, easy to start automating (Batch) procedures Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
we use many SQL*Plus scripts, and the oracle extension is costly and only intended for Oracle ERP, therefore we do not use this, but the basic features as Oracle Login would be appreciated . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy JAMS is to schedule and the intuitive screens. Timely feedback and dependability. Schedule once and I can literally forget about it as JAMS Scheduler consistently works hard for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot remember anything that I do not like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
