What do you like best about FortiManager?

Easy installation, this solution could be installed as a virtual machine. It could be helpful when managing many FortiGate on remote sites with the same configuration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiManager?

The menus are not as simple to manage as it's for the fortigate and sometimes the push to managed firewalls fails Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FortiManager?

1. Centralized management and user-friendly UI.

2. Available for a hybrid solution. Easy to use

3. Logging and reporting made easy

4. FAZ can be used as Fortimanager

5. Scope of Automation via security Fabric Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiManager?

1. Compatibility issue at the time of different versions of firewall and FAZ

2. Issue while creating VDOM -shows all interfaces

3. Some options are not available on UI and need to access CLI to access the features

What do you like best about FortiManager?

The Presales team was very knowledgeable, even on products that were not Fortinet which helped immensely on implementing the pilot with our current products and services.The team was also on hand for further advice during the implementation after it had been handed over to the vendor assisting with procurement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FortiManager?

Bugs can sometimes occur in the interface, but not a big problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Centralized policy management

Ability to configure the device even when managed via FortiManager allows to overwritten config. This could be avoided by bringing a local override feature if needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
