The best part about it is that it pretty much caters for most of the necessary needs easily in an organisation especially when it comes to members mobilization and there's not need to look for an external application or software to do tasks like sending multiple emails at once and making integrated announcements. There isn't anything I dislike about Mobilize at the moment as it has been serving me the best already, but what could be added to make it a more comprehensive members engagement tool is probably by adding meeting management system like creating one and using it for live meeting sessions. We are a diverse community of people wanting to share resources, ideas and encouragement. The clear and attractive user interface of Mobilize has meant it's been easy for everyone to pick up and start using. Discussion threads are easy to follow and it's helpful that you can tag people in your posts and comments. Events have been great for letting everyone know about potentially useful training and seminars coming up. We have also made good use of the ability to upload and share files and resources with each other. The fact the people can interact via email or mobile app if they wish have been hugely helpful for being able to include both those who use technology a lot and those who don't.
Having looked at other potential platforms, one of the things that also won us over to Mobilize was the level of privacy. Various members of our community were concerned about this for various reason but all felt happy with the level of privacy offered to them when using this platform.
In terms of managing the community, we really appreciated the ability to customise so much of our on-boarding process, and it's been invaluable to be able to assign some folk to the various community moderation and management roles to support the development of the community in a sustainable way.
We were also delighted with the support we were given, even before we signed up to Mobilize. The team have been beyond helpful at answering all our questions, so we could be sure this was the tool for us.
Especially during this period of lockdown, it has been invaluable at better connecting people from all across our area. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I genuinely don't have any downsides for how we've been using Mobilize. It has met all our needs so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managed to very easily and flexibly create a small closed community. All the needed features are there, with practically no learning curve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The file repository functionality could use some improvement - e.g. providing better navigation, file descriptions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mobilize is intuitive for community managers and members to use. The email based system makes the platform accessible to everyone regardless of age or tech ability. A web interface and mobile app provide users with access to more features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about Mobilize. The main challenge is that some new group leaders are not aware of Mobilize and instinctively suggest more commonly known products. Mobilize should have the best name recognition because the platform is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like that there are a number of different functional options to chose from, like the Feed/or Lounge, the Files section, (which means I can put all the files for the online Program for my community in there), the Members section and the events section too. It is great having all these options in the one spot. It is really user friendly and my course partcipants just rated it highly in a survey too, so thankyou. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to access the Files section from my mobile. I seem to only be able to access these from my laptop, so this means that I am restricted sometimes when commuting or travelling.
Also I would really like an option to put video messages into the Feed and encourage others to do the same, as part of the Programme. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
