Everything is centralized and clearly indicated, and it can't be more intuitive to make a modification. This is perfect for newly recruited members of our company. Customer service is also a big plus. All the necessary features are there, meaning that it can be used everyday without worry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The design could benefit from a tiny update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Since some months my team are having a difficult to make a platform delivery, during the path we discovered Forest admin and decided to integrate our data, in one month we made the delivery! Its very easy to modulate and i have less dependency on my developers because i can make the modifications on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using forest have some limitations even if theres a sea of options, for my product i have sensible data that i wish i could put on encrypt, i dont know if this option already exists i still reading the documentation but would be awesome put a encrypted interface for some of my users. Not applicable. I might have some difficulties with the answers, not with the product itself Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My experience with Forest has been mostly working with a PostgreSQL, where it is really easy to create models and pages so our colleagues can view the data they need. The custom forms have been getting really good as well, with the option to have dynamic fields and what not.
Not sure how well it integrates with other Databases though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel that, without being careful, our Teams and Roles can get out of control. Also, it is a bit of a pity that we cannot have a similar UI layout for multiple teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I access the data fast, download everything I need and customize the accesses according different needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Active forum with great customer support: when asking a question, we typically wait a maximum of 1-2 days before getting a comprehensive response. Most of my inquiries have been solved, or even implemented, very fast.
2. Easy to use and set up. The docs are very easy to follow.
3. We use it with Mongoose & MongoD. Forest Admin does a lot of smart automatic deductions of field types/names, selects appropriate editing widgets, creates smart relationships between references, and visualizes them clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is sometimes hard to achieve more complex tasks when they do not align with the framework. I recommend reading the docs clearly what is and is not supported. Furthermore, the docs are very well structured and easy to follow, but they could be a bit more comprehensive. I frequently find myself looking through the Typescript descriptions to try to figure out the functionality of certain methods or fields (to be fair, the TS descriptions are very good). In terms of getting a great administration interface on the ground quickly when developing Ruby on Rails applications, Forest Admin is easily the best choice. Most other options require a decent amount of code or to learn the ins and outs of a DSL, but with Forest you just plug and play and can easily tweak the interface and workflows with no coding needed. Not much. It use to be that it didn't support polymorphic relationships, but they just released that feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I only have positives to say. Most of these tools are pretty terrible; Forest is nice to look at, simple, and easy to get to grips with. I enjoy using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not too much to say here really. I tend to use it for quite basic things though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy the flexibility that Forest Admin provides as a user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because there are a lot of features and flexibility it takes a bit of work to adapt to, but it's worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
