What do you like best about folk?

I've found Folk to be really useful as I scale up a startup. We're moving from managing opportunities and accounts in our heads, or on spreadsheets, to taking a more sophisticated approach.

Folk has been really easy to set-up and to start using. I am a big fan of the board view (or kanban) and we've found that to be a really nice way to collaborate and discuss opportunities - like we used to, only now we can capture and share everything within the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about folk?

What do you like best about folk?

- The possibilities to create our own fields

- The possibility to create multiple workflow and pipe for both outreaching or project leading

What do you dislike about folk?

- A lack of some basic features like automatic link with linkedin when send a message. We need to cut paste the message send to create an intercation et paste this one. Annoying !

- Setup automatic tasks and reminders when we go on pipeline (when i put my lead in this step it means i will do a mail in 15 days. Create a reminder automatically

- Select more than one lead to cut paste something in volume or create a reminder

- There is no space about tasks

CRM simply and avoid me to take more and more digital tools to enrich and to have a basic email marketing tool

What do you like best about folk?

Building lists for various (and very different) purposes. Their Chrome extension makes extracting profile data from LinkedIn (I use this the most but also other platforms like Twitter and such) a breeze. It enriches your data on demand and enables sending email sequences to your top prospects. I use it daily and it was so easy to setup.

Oh and their customer support is on top of things and super speedy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about folk?

Still a lack of native integrations with other tools but the workaround is to use automation tools like Zapier or Make to make it happen. Still a young offering, so there are a few CRM basics that are only launching now, like Deals (but it's launching now). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is folk solving and how is that benefiting you?

To be able to extract my Tier 1 type of prospects and build list that are relevant and up to date thanks to built-in enrichment is great. Also I build lists for various different uses. What do you like best about folk?

There are so many great features to Folk but my favorite so far is the "Enrich" botton! I can't believe how easy it's been to get all the info. into Folk and all of the information it gave me once we did. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about folk?

The only downfall vwith Folk that I have found so that it is hard to get appointments scheduled during regular work hours because the team is overseas but oh my..The Folk Team is so knowledgable and helpful. The customer support is over the top! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about folk?

The ability to reorganize contacts based on certain characteristics in a way that is more efficient than excel is nice. However, the very best feature is certainly the Enrichment function for filling in missing data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about folk?

I feel like my various lists overlap a good deal. I wish I could more transparently segment my contacts between lists based on a larger number of variables that do not require user input.

For instance, it would be great if the origin of a contact, the date it's added, and even my location where I added it was saved with the contact in a way that the user can access it. What do you like best about folk?

I started a small business and didn't want to spend a fortune on a CRM, but as a former sales and marketing leader, I know the importance of keeping track of your clients, prospects, interactions, meetings, campaigns and the like. I saw someone mention Folk on LinkedIn and I tested it out with the free trial period. It's got everything I need. My favorite features are the abiity to add contacts to Folk directly from LinkedIn in one click, and then to enrich the data with things like email addresses. So much time saved. I'm also big on segmentation, and I've used it to create several different groups based on geogrpraphy, level of contact, type of organization, etc. I have a group for prospects and a group for conultants/vendors that I can collaborate with, among other things. I just ran my first email campaign, and it couldn't have been easier. Created a template, personalized it using field descriptions from a dropdown list (e.g. first name, company name, etc.), selected the contacts I wanted to receive it, saved the campaign, reviewed for accuracy and sent - again extremely simple. And the coolest part - within seconds I had a tally of how many were delivered, any that bounced, who opened, who clicked on links, etc. Hugely helpful info. All in all, I'm very impressed with the tool and looking forward to finding new ways to use it for business development and tracking. By the way, when I originally lauched Folk, I had an Excel spreadsheet with about 300 contact names I wanted to import, and I was able to do that with no problem. And anything you're not sure about, they have tutorials or are willing to jump on a call with you to help you figure it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about folk?

While I could see there being limitations for a mid-size or large company, I don't see any downside for solo business owners or businesses with a very small team that needs to share info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The biggst problem that Folk is solving is keeping track of my prospects and my communications and outreach. I've always been a very organized person, but I'm used to having tools provided to me in the corporate world. Now starting my own venture, I was winging it with spreadsheets, notes, calendar reminders and the like. It was getitng overwhelming quickly, but Folk fixed all that by giving me one spot to keep all my clients, prospects, partners, campaigns, reminders and notes. What do you like best about folk?

The automated integration with Gmail and LinkedIn has been key. I was looking for a solution that could automatically tell when I'd last emailed someone, and bring that information all into one centralized spot. What do you like best about folk?

Our search for the perfect CRM ended with Folk, and we couldn’t be happier. Recommended by an agency owner friend who’s been through every CRM under the sun, Folk has proven to be exactly what we needed.

When we were ready to move to a proper CRM tool, we trusted our friend’s advice and went straight to Folk. After just a two-week trial, we were sold. The transition was seamless, taking us only two days to migrate our CRM data from Notion to Folk. The setup was easy, and we quickly saw the benefits.

Folk’s design is sleek and simple, making it incredibly intuitive. It’s not overloaded with features, which is a huge plus for us.
