What do you like best about FluentStream Technologies?

We utilize Fluent Stream for our inbound Call Center. Having looked at several options available we found FluentStream could meet our needs at a much lower cost then competitors offering similar features. We have been using FluentStream for over a year now and when ever we have questions, concerns, or need assistance they bring it! Customer Service from them is beyond my exceptions or today's norms. Quick, responsive, caring, effective are all words I would use to describe the service we have received. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FluentStream Technologies?

We hit a few minor bumps as we first rolled out, nothing that impacted our ability to serve our customer. We all wish everything we used never hit a bump or challenge, although the reality for us was those existed for us at start up. Some of it was us, some was them. What I disliked was that we had bumps, however even in this dislike FluentStream never missed a beat in taking care of us and reacting with the needed level of responsiveness and service we required. What problems is FluentStream Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?

With the addition of FluentStream to our call center I have greater visibility in to what is occurring with our agents, how we are treating our consumers, and real time visibility to performance metrics. Using those metrics we identified some bottle necks in our processes and were able to using skill routing and auto-attendant features with in the FluentStream solution to bring significant improvement. The auto-attendant is a needed feature in my position as an office manager who is away from my desk frequently during the workday. I love the ease of recording greetings and an office directory as well as recording an emergency number for oil well emergencies, which is a necessary requirement in our industry. What do you like best about FluentStream Technologies?

When we found FluentStream, we were a two-person operation, but of course with plans to expand. FluentStream was the least expensive and invasive system we could find. Our city has one reliable internet provider, and they have a product that was going to cost twice as much and require thousands in equipment and installation costs. FluentStream was easier to set up and maintain than building a secure network and platform for it to run on. Other carriers and options also had to try and sell me on using a separate fax function. With FluentStream, tracking voicemails, incoming and outgoing faxes, and even turning my vehicle into a mobile office is attainable with just an internet connection. Just as robust in the field as in the office was our goal, and FluentStream helped us get there affordably. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FluentStream Technologies?

We went through a horrible trial period several months ago when we decided to try and consolidate a couple of services and see if they could compete with what we have already been provided by FluentStream for the past three years. They couldn't, but there is always a feature you end up wishing you could have. From that, we discovered that Fluentstream's mobile app is not quite as robust as some others. Feel like I am nitpicking here a little, but an easier way to group text, calls, and faxes on the app would be great. The natural jump also is to have the app able to send a fax. You have an image processer on your phone, a pdf convertor standard on any business device, please incorporate a fax function on the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are on the fence about trying Fluentstream because their value seems too good to be true, don't be. They have hit the mark for me every time, and the people that answer the phone or receive the emails at Fluentstream are always capable of making the adjustments I need quickly and pleasantly. What problems is FluentStream Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to monitor all calls between two companies that operate from the same hub. One is insurance, and the other a plumbing company. Totally different needs, but FluentStream provided calls and fax service for both. Our office has grown and gone through several agents and laborers, but each one has been able to easily adapt to the phone system, and get just as much done out in the field as in the office...maybe more since outside of the office is where the clients are! I have done a conference call at a client's office, then sent a fax to wrap up that meeting, and called into another call on the way back to the office and finished that call as if I never left for the afternoon. When something does go awry, a service rep is prompt with updates and if it looks like it may take more than one person, or unforeseen amounts of time to fix a problem, a work-around is instantly given to me to choose what path is best. Billing is a breeze to understand and interpret, and when something is amiss there, it is the same attentiveness to the issue that the technical team gives me. I managed a 911 call center in a past career, and my downtime with FluentStream has been lower compared to what I experienced back then. Of course, VOIP was just being introduced into government areas such as 911 call centers, but the fact that FluentStream can provide me less downtime than what I have known, and does it for a reasonable cost means my business comes out the winner. The company seems to be growing and developing at a rapid pace - maybe a few little growing pains in terms of work overload and internal systems development - yet with their optimistic problem-solving approach, our Rep didn't make us feel that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering FluentStream Technologies:

Purchase phones that work best with your needs and with Fluentstream. Many VOIP phones are workable but if you ask FluentStream in advance of purchasing phones, you will have the best compatibility outcome. Switch as soon as you are prepared and able to do it. We saved a LOT of money, no contract, and we are only obligated to pay for actual performance that keeps us satisfied versus being locked into BAD service on a long-term contract. Our needs weren't particularly easy. We have two small companies at one location operating separately and answering the phones with 2 different business names (using shared personnel), accustomed to an old phone system, in an industry that doesn't always welcome technology changes! Going to VOIP from Analog was the challenge of trying to make something newer - look more like the older system in order to minimize the technology pushback. We purchased Cisco SPA508G phones (not password protected), all with Attendant Sidecars (maybe not ideal since programming options can be more advanced), but they work well for us, were affordable, and we mostly use the basics anyway. We also have a warehouse speaker paging system. I'm not a phone guy - but decent with technology. We got by with only me doing the change out and with a little help from our contract IT guy to prioritize call quality and make sure our firewall ports were set correctly.

FluentStream and more specifically Kaitlin, not only did an outstanding job of working with us to get where we needed to be - but they also cut our monthly bill by about 2/3 WOW! Are there cons... sure - very minor ones. I'm pretty sure they aren't (yet), a technology giant with unlimited funds - but - every need we had and that mattered - they met with a GREAT attitude and with AMERICAN customer service that was easy to understand. Actually, my view is that their setup options for the $ spent are VERY advanced. We tried several others before deciding - one of the LARGEST Voip companies out there, and one very small 2-3 person company. NO COMPARISON - even from the large company. They had no flexibility and hard-to-communicate with overseas people for support. Those we work with at FluentStream take time to listen and solve issues that are important to us. What is that worth? Every penny that we saved - and every $200. - $300. monthly that I feel we overpaid CenturyLink and 2 other companies over the last 6 years - for below average, often grouchy time-eating, 8-phone-calls-later customer service. If you are like us, you will save thousands per year. For small businesses, and more importantly for large businesses, the savings is significant - for better service. I really can't believe how much we are saving and how adaptable their system has been for us. We would definitely do this again and again and again! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about FluentStream Technologies?

As a call center we desire unlimited calling with call recording, whisper coach, barge in etc. This system provides everything that we were looking for at an excellent price per extension. We are able to purchase DID numbers directly from the web portal and assign function codes for agents to change their caller ID on the fly. The reporting options are pretty robust, even if most are designed for an inbound queue situation (we're primarily outbound). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As inherent with and SAAS downtime can be a bummer. To be fair they have been very quick to respond to any outages and we have had only a few instances where the impact was more than a slow down of the interface.. i.e. VOIP calls not connecting for an hour or two... this is over the course of at least 3 years. Ask questions, learn what you can before migrating. Although they will help you set up I encourage you to add the users and call flows IVR etc yourself, so that you can figure out the process up front and get all the snafu's out of the way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Full customization of IVR, queue, call flows, auto rollover, follow me functionality - a robust contact center infrastructure which even includes SMS functionality for DID's purchased through their interface.
