I like the idea of being able to colour code tasks, assign tasks to an email and define time requirements as well as project details within a task. I also really enjoy the reporting side of things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like it if Float offered the ability to change the title of some of the input box titles. For example, where it says "Project" I would like to be able to edit that to my own title. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Float makes it extremely easy to view the schedule for the week and months ahead. The ability to colour certain types of work makes it very easy to quickly identify what you are working on in a week. The accompanying app that was recently released is great and makes it very easy to have a quick browse of what you have scheduled when you are on the go. It's a great platform that I use daily. The only issue is the inability to quickly see what other colleagues are assigned to work on the same project as you are. It currently requires the complicated use of filters but it would be great if you could just see other colleagues working on it when clicking on the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Float is a great resource management tool that makes scheduling and planning easy. The interface is simple and easy to use, even for beginners. I love how you can quickly see your team’s availability and avoid scheduling conflicts. The ability to assign tasks based on your team's workload helps keep things organized and on track. Float can feel a bit complicated for smaller teams or simpler projects. The price is a little high, especially if you only need basic features. Some customization options for reports could be better, and the platform can sometimes slow down during busy periods. Also multi currency option is missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As the Float administrator for my organisation, Float is very easy to provide training on as it is very intuitive to demonstrate how to track time to my colleagues who use it to track the time they've spent on projects and tasks.
The layout is very easy and the process to schedule time and log time is also very easy as well.
When we run the end of month reports, there's very little chasing up of incorrect hours logged as the staff here have done their time sheets correctly.
The software looked very easy to implement as we didn't use any SSO integration to run the platform. Staff here use Float accounts and find it quick to log in.
The Customer Support is also good and efficient. I had a ticket resolved in 20 minutes over the web chat Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing I can see.
We do use the platform very simply without too many layers to our processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hugely adaptable and powerful. The interface is intuitive. Great use of permissions, departments and reports.
We actually use it as a sudo booking system. It's completely streamlined our workflow and has saved us an incredible amount of time. The support is excellent and prompt due to remote working world wide. There is always someone available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally there are some updates that either changes or removes some functionally that we use. There are always easy workarounds but it can be a bit frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've found it really helpful for quickly tracking both my individual project contributions and a number of active teams in my department. The setup was simple and managing our growing account has been straightforward to manage with clear comms on the changing costs.
The way that it breaks down time into blocks is clear, and the quick actions to start / stop and amend the times where necessary is great. I use it daily to help me understand where I'm allocating my time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I've found it difficult to break down the reporting in quite the best way to share data with my stakeholders internally, and wonder if that's because I didn't take advantage of customer support to setup my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The nice UI to undestand how employees time is being spent.
The ability to have different colors for each type of task.
Reports generation is really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User doesn't have ability to copy tasks from previous week. It only available within week window. I have already reported this to you guys.
There is no option to see the budget left over. It will be good to have that feature where it shows the staus of hrs left to complete a project/task. I believe this has been already communicated to you from our compant POC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like that I can see exactly what's on my week - and the coming weeks up ahead. It's easy to plan my time with a detailed yet fluid system. At our advertising agency things change all the time, and Float enables us to keep on top of things. It's software that's embedded in our daily working lives, helping us to plan workload and keep teams in check. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that there was a way that people would see that I was in need of help if I was overbooked my daily allowance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Visual resource planning. Easy to make updates and changes to the system. Very adapatable for different project types and team working styles. Visual reporting is easy to digest. It's super intuitive and easy to use for users. The customer support has been awesome - Zoe is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Inability to easily upload historical data from our previous system. The reporting capability is strong but to do more robust analysis, an excel download is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So easy to use, not complicated. Can see what and where the team is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If a group of people are on 1 task, not easy to take one person out of that task and move to another task.Have to change the original task. Not that this occurs very often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've had Float for almost a year and we've really taken advantage of all that it has to offer. From the initial intro call, they've been incredibly friendly and informative of how our company could best use Float. The actual onboarding process was the most smooth I've experienced when working with a new vendor. The UI is clean, yet tells you the whole story you need and if our team ever ran into a bug, their customer support team were ready to assist as needed. I also appreciate their Community Slack channel of new and seasoned users discussing potential problems and solutions. Because the program is easy to use, our team is always logged in and updating their projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the only con I have is their Reports view. There is definitely a learning curve to fully take advantage of the Report section and it may not give you everything you're looking for (even when exporting). As Float continues to evolve and grow, I do hope they expand more within that view. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
