Several time it has been noticed that support is not up to the exceptions.

I started with using Excel sheets to track licenses, and that quickly got out of hand. This tool allows me to monitor software installs that I didn't know about and track usage for licenses that I am tracking closely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's only as good as the data that is being entered. There is a lot of "supervision" of the data to ensure accuracy. But that can't really be avoided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Straight forward interface. The interfacing is very user-friendly. It is also recognized by various big software publishers and this would definitely be the solution that is able to ensure those software publishers licenses are managed in an effective manner. There are still some bugs and does not address issues in very details. They could have a more descriptive listing on which software publishers's software it could or couldn't support. This is quite ambigous as stating the software publisher's brand alone may not be sufficient for us to be fully aware of the other software under this publisher. The after sales service is outstanding. Product functionality and performance. IBM and Oracle verified.

There are so many known issues and bugs not even addressed.

1) Having "Silver" support package which takes forever to provide to a resolution (if any).

2) Local reseller do not have the right domain knowledge / skill sets.

3) Bad / incorrect advice received at initial project implementation and found out at the tail end like 4 years later.

4) No Executive coverage from Flexera for long period of time.

5) No knowledge or expertise to configure Cognos reporting.
