As a productivity coach I use Fireflies.ai as leverage to my business. I created an account after receiving a transcription from my coach. It was so easy to being and start using it.
Now all my group and individual coaching meetings on zoom weekly have a fireflies.ai in attendance.
Fireflies sends a transcription of the meeting with a zoom recording to each person who is on the invite list. This is amazing! I wish I learned about this sooner! My clients love the accuracy of the transcription and I love the leverage. No more repeating myself, I simply say go review the meeting from x date! It is wonderful. And my coaching clients love it as well. They receive copies of the recorded meeting and can use it to refer back to! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My agents think it is spam or they are being hacked. Perhaps coming up with a different background for zoom to make it more friendly. They are also afraid to click the links for fear of a virus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Using Fireflies has revolutionised the way in which I work. I can now share notes with the meeting participants As well as accurately have a record of the meeting, action points and next steps. My clients really like it too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven’t really found any downsides to Fireflies so far. Perhaps the accuracy of transcription is not always 100%, but I think I’m probably being a bit harsh in that expectation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As somebody who has had ADHD since my teens, this ai platform has been a game changer. It is super simple to use and configure. I find that the transcription and summaries produced by Fred/FireFlies to be spot on and matches relevant data points discussed. The platform even generates follow up tasks mentioned in meetings and assigns them to their respective parties. The settings are customizable and extremely easy to use. I no longer take down notes by hand because that's how accurate this ai has been for my use, and that is a major game changer for me! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside that I can think of is that you receive a summary email for each meeting (which can be useful for maybe a handful of meetings in 1 week) but for the amount of meetings I participate in (varies between 10 - 30 a week) it would be easier for me to receive a daily recap for that days meetings so that I can attach that to my planner. Aside from that, I honestly have no other downsides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The product reduces the work and time it takes to transcribe meetings, especially those meetings that have a large number of attendees and which require accuracy. This is particularly true when attendees are from various countries that speak other languages as a primary language. An accurate transcription, in this case, makes it easier for the attendees to review and fully understand the content.
The ability to have on hand a break out of topics, timelines, and assignments is super helpful. This is coupled with a "living transcription" that allows a reviewer to focus on a part of the conversation, complete with video, to better undertand the topic at hand.
Implementation was super easy, just configure the service and invite Fred to the meeting. Everyone has been able to use it.
I use Fireflies in literally ever Zoom meeting because it augments and improves communication. The integration with Zoom was simple, and nearly automatic. No one that I've recommended the service to has had any trouble setting it up or using it.
I'm not able to speak to customer support because, frankly, we haven't needed any. It just works. I've yet to find a situation where I needed to reach out to customer support to solve a problem. If customer support works as well as the rest of the service, I'd expect it to be top shelf.
Our many meeting attendees have raved about the results and many have adopted Fireflies in their own meetings and practices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have to be honest and say that I can't think of anything that isn't useful. There are metrics that we use less often but none of them lack purpose or functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that Fireflies frees me up to be an active listener and partipant in the meetings it is recording and transcribing. I am no longer tied to my pen and notebook.I also like that if I miss a meeting, I can read the summary and the transcript to determine what really happened. It was seamless to implement and integrate into our meetings and everyone in our office ends up using it multiple times each week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fireflies is not perfect. It sometimes misidentifies the speaker and doesn't know all of the technical terminology that we sometimes use, so it is not to be taken literally and we sometimes need our phonetics to determine what was actually said. Another thing I have noted is that is someone put a message in the Teams chat during the meeting, it is not recorded or included in any summary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I admire the idea of having the application automatically start recording and taking notes. Sometimes I forget to do the recording manually, but when I see the icon, I realize I am already covered since the system was already setup, especially I use the application frequently for my virtual meetings. Though I was trying out the "Free" version of the software, it was a slight setback to see the message of having little to no recording minutes left on my profile. However, I am glad that convinced me to upgrade to the next package, which is what I am finalizing now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fireflies is an amazing tool to use. This tool helps me save a lot of time when creating reports from (video) meetings with my clients. After the meeting, I receive a report with action points within 5 to 10 minutes. These action points are also provided separately, allowing me to follow up on them and add them to my To-Do list. With Fireflies, I save a lot of time that I can dedicate to other tasks within our accounting firm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. Or maybe it would be nice when the fun icons and emojis could be includes when you download the meeting summary as a PDF. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super easy to use. Transcriptions are high quality, also in Dutch. It's very useful and saves tons of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the AI features are nice, but as often with AI it focuses a lot on the generation part not the destillation. I need simpler notes that capture the same wording as the transcript, but simplified and summarized. Now the summary often goes into a high level with generated wording, which loses the essence and especially the tone and wording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Fireflies.ai for all our meetings, both internal and with customers. It's made following up from meetings much easier, and no need to look at hastily scribbled notes anymore. We love the transcription feature, as well as being able to use it on the go via the mobile app for in person meetings or quick notes you want to leave for yourself while out and about. Was super easy to implement, and we as a company have used it almost every day since we found it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There really isn't anything to dislike, unless you just don't want a notetaker. It integrates with our Teams calls seamlessly. The only thing I notice that some notetakers have that Fireflies does not is the ability to track speaking time or monologuing in real time. You can see some of this data in the reporting aftewards, but would be nice to see it in real time to make some of our more long winded speeches more concise. Fireflies.ai is really great for phone call or meeting transcripts. You can upload MP3s if the call didn't go through FF originally. For Zoom it logs into meetings automatically and records participants who were invited through Outlook Calendar in our case. And its AI summaries are highly accurate with ToDos and Action Items, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing not to dislike as the interface is easy to use and you can self train normally on how to use the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
