Filevine is rapidly improving on an already great product for our unique civil plaintiff firm. It allows us to bill for our time, add in contingencies, communicate incredibly well with peers while sharing a well controlled repository of case documents. But what I like best is that they are constantly improving and evolving. As great as it is today, i can't wait to see what it's like down the road. FileVine has grown in line with how law firms themselves grow, and as such there isn't as much managerial control or production of data and reports embedded in the system itself for business people like me running the firm. I really do not have anything to dislike

The one aspect of Filevine that I find a bit frustrating is how documents open in the browser instead of using the native application, like Word or Excel. While this setup can be convenient for quick viewing, it sometimes slows down workflow when I need to make more detailed edits or formatting changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a case management software, FIlevine excels offering friendly user workflows for law firms. I like a lot that has different features to centralize communications, tasks and file management in one platform, reducing the time spent on administrative work and enhances team collaboration. Also allows synchronization with mailing software and calendar systems and is invaluable for managing case files efficiently.

We use it on a daily basis to keep track of client's case progress and also to track the team performance and KPI's.

Another highlight is the task automation system, reducing human error and ensuring that deadlines are consistenlty met, which is crucial in legal field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I consider that there is room for improvement in syncronizing on real time the Team Tab with the changes that are applied on the Case Summary tab, making it easier to reassign cases from one team member to another, avoiding that manual changes need to be made. Also, the Case Vitals might need some adjustments because you can't configure yet how to made custom view for project type on this new feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can keep track of tasks very easily, and keep files organized electronically. Also VineSign is very easy to use and helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The least helpful thing is that the tasks are not ordered by importance or urgency. For example we can change due date, but there is no place to put whether the task is urgent or not Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It has a place for everything so that anything the attorney wants to know about the case is at his fingertips! The medical providers for your clients, their bills, the litigation deadlines, documents, the team members working each case - it's all there and easily accessed. I love that the program is Windows-based so that you can log on anywhere and add notes or review the case. Our firm uses the program all day, every day! There are a ton of things I have come to appreciate from Filevine. We transferred over from another platform and I will say that I am grateful for that. Filevine makes case management easy on a daily basis. It is such an organized system has helped me stay on track with the tasking option and the calendar is easy to view. There are a ton of features that have helped all of us at the firm be more efficient and effective. The tasking with deadlines has also been a lifesaver and I love it! HIGHLY recommend. The confusing number and nature of contractors we needed to migrate our data from our legacy system to FV was poorly communicated during the selling process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It definitely SPEEDS up my daily workload and I LOVE IT for that. To finish the title of my review, there's GOOD (programs) and BAD programs, but FILEVINE is an animal of it's own that doesn't place limitations on what you can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's only as good as the info we put into it; in particular, you have to "code" all of your own files and basically write the program to suit your company's needs. Therefore, we had/have to pay others to do the "behind the scenes" programming type work. Once, all of that is in place, its wonderful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
