I have plenty of subscriptions for various services and those costs have started to creep on me. Given the level of faxing, I do these days it no longer made sense to me to maintain a Fax subscription as my usage no longer justified the costs. I did however still retain the need for sending the once-in-a-blue-moon fax. I also wanted to use a service that was established and reputable so that my data privacy was not being abused. Having read several online reviews I wound up using faxZero for the occasional fax. In return for being able to send up to a 3 Page fax for free it comes with branding from faxZero on the cover page, fair enough trade-off in my mind. If I have a need, and only once do I remember this, I can also pay to send a fax of greater length and the price is about $2 which is not unreasonable and lets be honest, the convenience factor is nice. No more drives to Kinkos or OfficeDepot Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are not a lot of downsides to using the service. If I was needing to fax something of a professional nature like a reference for a job or a resume I would not be keen on sending it through with a branded fax page. It is never been a big deal to me, but there is no cover page designer so if that was something important you will not find it. I would also say, as someone who is pretty careful with Privacy I would not want to send private personal information like medical records as I still am not confident in the security. They do have a fully disclosed Privacy policy online. The information on the retention of Personally Identifiable Information is a little vague. I guess the only other critique is that it is a little bare bones, but hard to complain about it when the service is free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It makes sending a fax in this technological age so easy and I can usually do it for free. I'd need to fax a bank or a hotel and I never had to think twice about going to an office store or figure out how to use an actual fax machine. Thank goodness for FaxZero! I think it's so easy to use that there's nothing I dislike about it. It does everything I need quickly and efficiently. The emailing back and forth for verification and proof of success is probably what would bug someone out there, but I've used a real fax machine back in the day, and I get it. I don't mind it taking a moment cause that's what it actually takes, a moment to do its thing. No biggie. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So easy and reliable. Would even have my grandmother use this company to fax every time she needed to send any of her faxes and to have all of her descends and then all of their families, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downsides. Working great!
I would have any friends use this excellent and effective faxing service. I think the post office and military should be using it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

FaxZero is a great service for sending and receiving faxes online, and I've been using it for some time now. It has a free option allowing you to send 3-pages fax occasionally, which super useful. It's also very reliable and easy to use. The interface is straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some cases, it can take a few minutes for the fax to go through because free faxes are not prioritized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that you can fax up to five faxes daily for free. This is one avenue to use if you don’t use fax daily. Did I say
it's free but up to a limit of pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wouldn't say I like that they attach their branding to your cover page and that you are only limited to three pages. It also takes a while to send and you have to confirm via email before they will send it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fax Zero is incredibly easy to use and helpful for those who don't send enough faxes to have a physical fax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't really found anything that I dislike about this company or software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't have to sign up through any complicated forms or pay anything upfront. The instructions are pretty straightforward. The sending times are pretty fast. My recipients usually get my faxes within a few minutes or so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ads can be a bit annoying. The cover page isn't customizable. There just aren't very many custom options in this faxing platform. given me easy access to business faxing services from anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's rare for places/individuals to have fax machines anymore so this is a great tool for those rare times when you do need to send a fax. The website is easy to use, the faxes seem to go through quickly, and I don't get spammed with email messages from them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can only send a few pages for free and then you're charged for the additional pages. The only time this became an issue was when I was at work and trying to send larger documents. The additional fee for the extra pages is reasonable though, especially since it saves you a trip to a UPS or Fedex store. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
