It is super easy to use. It's hard to explain to folks who have basic calendar needs, but my calendar is very busy. It allows you to use plain english to add items to the calendar and the interface is great. It's much better than iCal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For what it does, it really should be cheaper. They dont host the calendar or do anything fancy, the app and your computer do all the work, so they have little infratructure needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how easy it is to make recurring events and how it can decode plain English into a title, date, time, and location. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could create zoom meetings on my iPhone/iPad. Right now it has to be on the computer app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Fantastical excels at parsing (enter events in plain sentences and it figures it out (e.g., "lunch with Peter tomorrow from noon to 1pm"), handling of attachments, cross platform macOS-iOS, handling of multiple calendars, view options (I like the 14-day week view). Not too fussy about their subscription pricing. I know everyone is going that way and its not expensive at just a few dollars a month, but I'm paying for so many other SaaS subscriptions that I kind of resent having to do that for my calendar app. And lately it has been a bit crashy. I use the toolbar with a hot key probably about 100 times a day. I use it to pull up my calendar, check meetings, book meetings, etc.
I also like the new links to Zoom/Google Meet so it can kick off meetings straight from the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The task management side isn't great. Rest is solid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This app syncs with all the other apps to keep my calendar updated with all my meeting schedules. This provides a very interactive and nice way to present all the meetings. Being a cross-platform app, this helps me a lot as the calendar and all the tasks are synced on all the devices so whichever device I'm working on I always stay updated with the tasks. The app sometimes takes a lot of time to solve the issues addressed. It's widgets on the iPad are not that interactive or informative and the team can work on improving these. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Subscription model is annoying, but they have to eat so might as well embrace it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite feature is natural language processing for events. "Lunch with mom tomorrow at 1" perfectly translates into an appointment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The subscription model is a bit steep and locks away some essential features Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Keeps things organized, very intuitive interface, like the way you can see different views of week, day or month. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Price is too expensive, $5 a month for a calendar app seems excessive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the thing I like best about Fantastical is that it exists and suddenly makes it a lot easier to manage my day to day and calendar Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't think there are a ton of downsides but sometimes it is slower Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
