"Hands-On Training That Boosts Sales Output"

What do you like best about Factor 8?

I like that Factor 8's training is more hands-on rather than just a lecture and their material is good. I appreciate their good customer approach and attention. I have a better understanding of sales and can produce better output with my metrics and the team's metrics. They're great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Factor 8?

I find Factor 8 to be incredibly effective in enhancing my skills as a manager. The COACHN model stands out as my favorite because it simplifies structuring coaching sessions, ensuring I stay focused on my objectives. This methodology is fantastic for individual contributors aspiring to managerial roles as it is easy to remember and apply in various contexts. Using Factor 8’s training methods, my team has shown noticeable improvements in motivation and comprehension of their responsibilities. They now ask more purposeful questions and even propose solutions during our coaching sessions. Additionally, their approach to sales training, which emphasizes asking open-ended questions and skillfully guiding customers towards making purchase decisions, is immensely beneficial. Overall, Factor 8’s training has been pivotal in organizing my management strategies, offering immense value to my professional growth and team dynamics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Factor 8 for sales training in the Call Goals module, and it has been helping me grow in my sales knowledge. The program is helping us develop our sales skills and become better on the phones. I find the show/prove sessions with Jen particularly helpful as they have significantly boosted my confidence and sales abilities. I also appreciate the personalized coaching that Factor 8 provides to our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

Maybe update the learn modules a little. I encountered a few bugs. The bug wouldn’t let me move on in the module. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

All the role playing...I really go to learn but most of it is us presenting which takes away from the time that could be sent absorbing and learning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Oleta Scott of Factor 8

Michelle, glad the tips for handling escalated customers have been useful, that's a tough skill to build. The feedback on role play time is fair, and it's a tension we hear occasionally between doing and absorbing. Thanks for being honest about it!

I find the live training sessions with Factor 8 very ideal. Their services are helping me with call planning, particularly with call structuring and creating an appropriate call bridge. The call reviews offered are very helpful, as they allow me to review calls with my team and coach ourselves with our peers. Factor 8 has helped me implement a structured call plan, and I think continuing to use Factor 8 with Corning is ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Transformative Leadership Training with John Healy and Factor 8"
5/5
What do you like best about Factor 8?

What I liked best about Factor 8 was how attentive John Healy was throughout the program. He took the time to truly understand our leadership gaps and customized the training to meet our specific needs. The program didn’t just offer theory—it left our leaders with a wealth of practical skills and tools they can carry with them throughout their careers. That level of personalization and long-term impact made the experience incredibly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

There weren’t many downsides, but if I had to mention one, it would be the Salesbar online learning platform. It was a bit confusing at times to understand what was due and when. A more user-friendly interface or clearer navigation would definitely improve the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I find Factor 8's alignment with our goals particularly commendable, as it closely mirrors our focus areas. Their pricing is competitive, and the availability of in-person training sessions has been crucial for our needs. Factor 8 has significantly contributed to enhancing our sales leaders' performance, specifically in conducting difficult conversations, organizing their days efficiently, and clearly communicating goals and objectives. I appreciate their deep efforts to understand our team and company culture, which has been fundamental in creating value. The menu of courses offered by Factor 8 is very attractive and plays a vital role in our training initiatives. I've been particularly impressed with John Healy, an effective trainer who is well-prepared, approaches our team with genuine understanding, and comfortably challenges us when necessary. "From Ambiguity to Impact: Our journey with Factor 8 and John Healy"
5/5
What do you like best about Factor 8?

Our experience with Factor 8 has been deeply rewarding and impactful. What stood out most was the authenticity and effectiveness of the coaching. John Healy’s facilitation style brought a unique blend of humour, empathy, and real-world relevance, making each session engaging and memorable.

We appreciated the clarity of expectations set throughout the program, which helped our leaders better understand their roles and responsibilities. The hands-on practice, especially around difficult conversations, was invaluable—giving our team the confidence and tools to navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.

The learning materials from Factor 8 were another highlight. They were clear, concise, and interactive, allowing participants to quickly absorb foundational concepts and immediately apply them through practice and affirmation. There was no filler—just meaningful, actionable content that respected our time and delivered results.

John’s ability to support with curiosity and respect, while still challenging each leader to grow and strive for their best, created a safe yet motivating learning environment. This balance of encouragement and accountability helped drive consistency in leadership behaviors, increase team engagement, and empower leaders with purpose. What do you dislike about Factor 8?

While our partnership with Factor 8 has been overwhelmingly positive, there are a few areas where we see opportunities for enhancement:

Extended Session Time: The sessions were highly engaging and packed with valuable insights, but at times felt too short to fully explore complex topics or allow for deeper discussion. Longer or more frequent sessions could help reinforce learning and provide additional time for reflection and practice.

Follow-Up Reinforcement: Post-session follow-ups or micro-learning refreshers could help sustain momentum and reinforce key concepts over time. This would support long-term behavior change and ensure continued growth beyond the initial training.

These are minor areas for improvement in an otherwise outstanding partnership. Addressing them could take an already excellent experience to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
