Factor 8 Overview

What is Factor 8?

Factor 8 is an award-winning sales rep and manager training company focused 100% on helping sales teams sell in a virtual world. We’re not a big six consultancy, we’re not a national curriculum house, we’re not selling books. What we are is a team of expert sales leaders who quit the daily grind so we could spend our time developing people – our favorite part of the job. Together we’ve solved the big problem: Sales Reps AND Managers are not gaining the skills they need to quickly feel confident and successful long-term. That means they ramp slowly and leave quickly. We’ve made the calls, done the demos, managed the teams, and forecasted the deals. We get you. We have a better way to ensure teams hit higher revenue goals faster. It’s all we do, and we love it. You’ll love the payoff.

What do you like best about Factor 8?

Love the expertise that Factor8 brings and their ability to make the modules tangible in real world scenarios. The follow-up materials and print-outs that can be used post training to ensure reps are implementing is a great way to drive home the learning. The call library is a fantastic way for managers and reps to really get that "real-world" feel and truly rounds out all of the modules nicely - it also acts a nice coaching spot for 1:1's and specific areas of development for individual reps Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

There are no inherent "Flaws" with the Sales Bar. Factor8 is continuously taking input and feedback from the user community and making the appropriate enhancements when and where needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are solving a lot of out on-boarding and training challenges. Before the Sales Bar our intro's weren't providing any value and we rarely referenced a lever - post training module in the sales bar we are getting into more live conversations and uncovering more details about prospects environments. We also struggled with getting call backs - virtually zero before the team went through "voice mails that work" module - we received 13 returned calls in 2 days and were able to schedule 2 or 3 meetings from those returned calls - THAT IS ROI!!! What do you like best about Factor 8?

What I like best about The Sales Bar is the relevancy of the training. Whether it's a quick video, a handout, or an interactive exercise, it's real training for real sellers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

The ability to rewind on the call recordings is not intuitive to me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:

The best way to implement The Sales Bar is with a group of 2 or more employees, facilitated by a trainer, with everything done together. Without it, your sales team will multi-task, zone out, and not fully realize the full potential of The Sales Bar. This is the case with any e-learning program that require actual skill development and not just knowledge ingestion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?

Thus far, we've solved getting new SDRs onboarded faster thanks to The Sales Bar. We are seeing a standardization of messaging with all the people that go through The Sales Bar, and we've been able to get 10 new reps up to speed by combining The Sales Bar (viewed together, and with discussion facilitated by me, a VP of Sales Training) with in person, instructor led training. What do you like best about Factor 8?

We use the Sales Bar as a supplement to the classroom training with Factor 8. What we love about it at Infor is that it is completely tailored to our customized Inside Sales Training program with personalized dashboards and learning paths. This helps our new hires get up to speed on our training and methodology as well as helps keep the skills alive for those who have completed the classroom training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

Anything self-paced can be a challenge, but the team at Factor 8 does a wonderful job of making it feel like you are in a classroom by ensuring the sessions are engaging. There are also live workshops that you can attend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?

The Sales Bar has allowed us to implement a sales methodology and language that we use throughout our entire organization. The bar has made it easy for us to onboard new reps as well as aid in continued coaching of our Inside Sales reps and managers. People are hungry for development and training and we have received great feedback from our reps and managers after using this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Factor 8?

The content is extremely relevant to all levels within the sales organization. I personally went through the leadership training and it was a game changer for my career. I've leveraged the sales content with my SDR team to great success. Not only is there training for the team but also support materials to assist managers in driving the content home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

The only challenge is the amount of content and determining what to start with and the order that will be most effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?

So much training is focused on product and too little is around how to navigate a sales call or manage a sales team. This solution solves for both. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Factor 8?

I love the modules and how they are chunked out so that a skill can be mastered rather than hoping that one out 10 things will stick like most modules are set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Factor 8?

Glitches - typos, links not going to the correct pages, audio fogginess. Issues are addressed as soon as they are reported so they are not glitches for long. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Factor 8:

I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to be a better coach and making a strong inside sales team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Factor 8 solving and how is that benefiting you?

The two most helpful are the call coaching and the COACHn modules - the prerecorded calls in the call coaching are invaluable because they can be used in 1/1's, team training as well as giving a team an outside example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI was fairly easy to navigate for both past and present learnings. You can customize very easily for your needs.

Response time of questions was outstanding. They really looked to their users to define the roadmap, which is the right way to think about technology. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
