Evernote is a handy app for taking notes. I like the notebook organization system and the use of tags. It makes it quick and easy to find your information. I have been using Evernote for a long time for note taking and knowledge-management. The app has a simple and clear interface and syncs quickly from all devices. Also, Evernote took away the bargain plan I had previously and replaced it with a more expensive one. Also, on my macbook, the app was shutting down a lot. It looked like some sort of bug. Their billing. I hadn't realised that I was being charged annually until this year when the amount doubled. They had been charging an expired credit card for the past 3 or so years and the account hadn't been accessed since 2017. They kindly refunded the charges for this year which was appreciated, but not for any other years. I get it - that's on me, but to continue charging an expired card exposes issues with their billing system that should be addessed. Because of this I can't recommend their solution to others. I was able to access it across all platforms and devices I was able to create notes needed at a moment's notice when traveling. I liked Shortcuts and I still like that I can hold sensitive information in there as a backup Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how easy to use and versatile Evernote is. I can quickly add notes, photos or audio recordings and organise them using tags to ensure my workflow is efficient. I'm not too upset with Evernote, but I do wish they'd added more features. The free version certainly has its limitations, and the premium version is basically cost-prohibitive, so it's only worth investing in if you're a power user who takes a lot of notes. The longer you use Evernote, the harder it gets to find needed notes, especially if you have multiple tags for different occasions. It is better to have your Evernote for a very specific purpose. I really like the way Evernote has combined the most useful features in one intuitive design. The handwriting option is incredibly useful for people who may be unfamiliar with certain foreign symbols and writing systems. A feature for auto-photographing documents is also included, which can be accessed by simply holding the paper in front of a camera. Occasionally, Evernote can be slow and laggy, resulting in data loss or incorrectly saved documents. Furthermore, many find the subscription system cumbersome and expensive for such a service.
