The Eventee App has been the perfect tool for our Annual Leadership Conference. It is easy to use, a very simple yet advanced design and their pricing is VERY competivitive. The support and customer service is the real star though! Anytime we need support, even with the time difference, they were very quick and responsive. If they aren't able to accomodate our request, they were still very eager to learn more from us so that they could potentially utilize that in future updates to the app. Super helpful team and company. You can tell that it is a newer app, but with the updates that they have made just since 2022, their potential and growth is exciting and innovative. Honestly, there has not been any super big downsides to Eventee. We have loved it. If we did have to choose something, it may just be the ability to not switch from "Stage" mode to more of a "Day-to-Day" look, but we were able to work around that and make it work for our needs. For users, the application is very clear, with networking capabilities and constant updates through the Newsfeed. There's also the option to ask questions directly to the speaker. Since we mainly had a foreign audience, all the texts in the application were in Czech. Unfortunately, however, some presets could not be switched to English. Customer service was prompt, friendly and allowed us to get going early for this one off event for a volunteer run global nonprofit hybrid conference.

The app was good and ability to crate tracks that aligned with how the academci proceedings would be structured. We would have gone back and added the recodings fo each session with more support. Instead this were edited and published on YouTube after. But the option to swap out the live stream for the recorded sessions is good.

The group of tech savvy attendees preferred dischord as a chat channel-something that could continue past the confernece, but it was still useful to have the ability to send group messages. We just made the link to the Dischord channel a custom button.

The branding for the main page was really offputting and looked very salesy/boring conference setting of mostly men looking in one direction in a dark room. Get some more creative graphics-everyone already knows they are attending a conference, but conferences look and feel very differently.

The new one off pricing will serve many nonprpfits and small entities well. Paying for an annual subscription just does not make sense for one off events. such as ours who are archiving the work (academic papers and vieos/audio art) on an OSJ platform.

Eventbrite intergration was a bit glitchy but got sorted. Mostly folks who were also presenters needed to know the differnece between their presenter profile and attendee profile.

Nothing. Maybe we should consider (for next event) if administrator can see the complete guest overview (guest who attend, to contact then) especially when there are side-event, to check final guest number, to be prepared.

Eventee includes all the features and functionality you need to successfully plan, coordinate, communicate, and execute a team event. I have utilized the app multiple times and not only is it easy to set-up and implement but the team loves having all the inforamtion at their fingertips. To top it all off the polling and incorporated questions give you the feedback loop to help guide future event planning.

Using Eventee allowed us to eliminate paper copies of the agenda, paper copies of the speaker bios, and paper copies of the sponsors. The platform was very easy to learn and navigate through during the event creation, and equally easy for the event attendees to use. I honestly didn't dislike anything about the free version of the app because I found a workaround for one of the features only available on the paid version. Eventee is a very good app for event organizers, we are using it for both virtual and offline conferences. It was especially helpful during the pandemic. It provides many interesting features such as live polls, questions and networking. It is user friendly and it is easy to set up. Their support team is also always ready to help. Eventee works as a template, so any additional changes are not possible and you are only using the preset parameters and you are not able to personalize it. On the other hand it is really easy and quick to create an event because of that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
