What do you like best about Eventee?

We have used most of the main virtual/hybrid event platforms that are currently on the market (and there are a lot of them). As a video production company, we have to go with whatever option our client wants for their event, and often that means using platforms they already have contracts with. But sometimes we are helping clients put together their first virtual or hybrid event, or they want our recommendation and when that happens we always recommend Eventee.

Eventee for us resembles a middle ground in bringing a great range of features that make a good virtual offering but not offering so many features that it ends up over-complicating things and becoming expensive. From the moment we first saw Eventee we were impressed by the simple and modern layout. For the most part, navigating Eventee is like navigating a normal website, and it's very easy to achieve a smart and professional-looking event for our clients. It definitely looks and feels like a platform several times the price. And it comes with a companion app, at no additional cost which is amazing.

We really like the key focus around the agenda and sessions, as at the end of the day that is what matters most in a conference. When you first log in as a delegate you're taken straight to the agenda meaning you're only one click away from watching the session that's currently live. Not everyone is tech-savvy and the more you put in the way between the delegates and watching the conference the more chance there is of them getting lost. The Poll and Q&A features are great and work well, and we like that delegates can upvote a question as that helps to avoid duplicate questions being posted. We've also used the projector mode a few times to display questions in the room which has worked really well and helped to bring the virtual and physical audiences closer together.

Eventee has got a nice balance between prompting users to move to the next session while also allowing for overrunning current sessions. It amazes me how other platforms have messed this bit up often forcing delegates out of sessions at the moment they are scheduled to end. Anyone working in the events space will know that conferences never run exactly to time and platforms should anticipate this. What Eventee does is pop up a message next to the 'Next Session' button to let people know that the next session is about to begin but doesn't physically move people. It then balances that by not letting any new joiners come into a session that is past the finish time. This makes perfect sense to us and has been much appreciated. You can also go in and change the access settings if you'd like certain sessions to remain visible no matter what. Which is very useful for going back in after the live event to replace live content with on-demand recordings. The Q&A questions are tied to each session and remain visible after the event which we find useful too.

Being able to rename certain elements of the platform like the exhibition area or speaker page is really valuable to us as well and adds to that sense of ownership, making an event feel custom but without overcomplicating things. It's very easy to set colours and add images, logos etc.

Analytics has had some great improvements since we first started using Eventee and now gives a great insight into the conference. Allowing us and our client, sponsors etc to gauge what bits were successful and what were less so.

Finally, I'm sure there are lots I've forgotten to mention but that says just how many great things Eventee has to offer. But I must leave an honourable mention for the support team. Support can really make or break a service and I'm pleased to say that Eventee Support is amazing. They always go out of their way to help whenever I have needed to talk with them, offering up really useful solutions even if they can't immediately fix something. They also get straight to the problem at hand which is critical during an event. I feel as if they are an extension of my team and that isn't something I've experienced with other services like this before. What do you dislike about Eventee?

I really like what the platform is doing as a whole, but I think refinements are needed before adding brand-new features.

I think the Eventee platform needs to offer more to support the delegates. Most of the delegate problems we deal with are due to a lack of information and education. It wasn't as prominent of a problem with some of the initial events we did because the audience was younger and more technologically savvy, but recently we've had some problems. For example, the registration email that delegates receive from Eventee should have some further information about how to use the platform. We have had to write a word document ourselves which is ok but clunky because it's not part of the main Eventee invite people often don't see it. A short welcome document or even better a video would really help delegates get the most out of the platform.

Networking is also been a bit problematic because delegates don't understand how it works and therefore low numbers of people use it, creating a worse experience. I think it would be very useful if a prompt came up the first time they went into the platform to ask if they wanted to create a profile and join the networking, explain how it works etc. It's just a little too hidden at the moment. And a separate messaging system for delegates to ask speakers a question privately without having to match with them in the networking would be really good. It's much requested in the feedback I receive.

I would also like to see the option for regular reminder emails to be sent to delegates in the run-up to the event. People's email inboxes are busy places these days and getting one email from Eventee about the conference a few weeks before is just going to be lost by the time they try to gain access.

There has also been some confusion around logging in and passwords. Especially if people initially go on via the website and then try to download the app. We also found it strange that there didn't seem to be a way of resending invites to delegates or sending the password reset emails etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eventee?

I have to say a huge THANK YOU! to the whole Eventee support and development teams as they provided us fast and very helpfull support during our conference. Eventee was willing to listen to our needs and it was easy to integrate with local ticketing platform (Simple Shop).

We used Eventee through the whole conference for workshops, live questions, gathering feedback for each session and also for sending broadcast notifications to all attendees.

What do you dislike about Eventee?

I'd welcome if supporting knowledge base for attendees would be also available in other languages than English as most of our atendees are comfortable only in Czech language. Other than that, we were really happy with Eventee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Eventee?

Eventee helped us communicate and navigate through our event for all our 4300 attendees. It was also incredibly easy to use for all staff members. Their customer support is very helpefull, we even had a 1:1 call before the event to ensure everything was ready to roll. Furthermore, the setup of the application was very easy and intuitive. Attendees used the 'Networking' feature throughout the event extensively and enthusiastically. Even after the event, networking was very rich which helped attendees convert leads into deals. I liked the feature 'More', where we could write all the information about the event as well as upload a map of the event site, plus all the documents and information atendees might need. Another fantastic feature was 'Feed', in which we could inform all attendees about news and updates, and the message would instantly pop up for everyone so noone misses out – e.g., when there was a change of speaker in the programme. In the feature 'Social Wall', people could share their impressions about the event, and our attendees were really engaged with and fond of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventee?

As an admin, you can't filter in statistics or programme in the app, like you can when exporting csv. In the networking section, I didn't like that every time I opened the app, existing connections in my network appeared as new with a notification popup, but I had already seen and talked to them. What problems is Eventee solving and how is that benefiting you?

We used Eventee because we really didn't want to have a paper programme – as we're aiming to be more eco friendly and generate less waste.

We also used Eventee for real time news about the event. If there was any problem or important news, this is the best way to communicate it to most of the attendees. We could also upload all the documents and information about the event that otherwise could have been missed in an information email. This app is simply the best solution for us. Easy to use and navigate - for the event planner and attendees

Conference scheduler could be set up quickly, all attendees could see what was happening, where and when

QR code allowed easy sign-up for attendees

In-app messaging promoted networking and comms between attendees

The live questions and polls gave real-time feedback and input into our sessions, kept the attendees engaged and the speakers up-to-date with what to address next

Newsfeed notifications (including images) were a great way to let our attendees know what was coming up next

Partners and sponsors appreciated having digital space to receive recognition for their contributions, and attendees could easily access more info about the sponsors with just one tap.

Accessible pricing and options meant it fit our event budget while delivering the key features we needed

What do you like best about Eventee?

The Eventee app proved to be 100% successful at the Prague Music Week conference and fair. It offers easy, user-friendly, intuitive control and filling of content (speakers, debates and workshops), including exhibitors and event partners with their presentations. We actively used both news, notifications, the ability to rate debates and gamification elements for conference attendees. A big plus is the ability to customize the graphics and look according to our visual identity this year. Overall, we can only recommend using the Eventee app! What do you like best about Eventee?

As a Trade Union, we require the ability to organise. There are several platforms out there that allow you to manage events through apps and websites. But they all either do and charge too much or miss the brief ever so slightly for our use case.

What do you like best about Eventee?

This is our sixth time using Eventee and we intend to continue, we are simply very satisfied. :)

What do you dislike about Eventee?

We don't use Eventee on a daily basis, but I think that it's a fine product. The moment we need to work on ShopMasters with Eventee, we can rely on it to work reliably and that is the best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Eventee repeatedly helps us with the organization of the ShopMasters conference. As part of the programme, ShopMasters participants have the opportunity to take part in one of 7 mastermind groups. We conveniently get a list of participants for each of the mastermind groups and our users get a confirmation email, so both parties gain confidence in the way things are set up from an organizational standpoint. What do you like best about Eventee?

What I personally like best is the ease of setting up the event for the attendees. I love being able to duplicate last year's event and simply modify as needed. It works the way I need it to, with minimal fuss. This is the 3rd year in a row we've used the app, and I think I've only had to reach out to support one time. What the attendees seem to like best is how easy it is to find information, organize their personal agendas, and network with other attendees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventee?

The only downside we've experienced is the multiple steps required to set up 1-1 appointments for part of the event. I was able to create a work around that was fine, but it invovled using a Google sheet and a little conditional formatting. If there were a more straightforward way for attendees to set up 1-1 appointments with sponsors during our trade show, it would be ideal for the app to store the appointments, or for the attendees to have the ability to set reminders or add them to their personal agendas. What problems is Eventee solving and how is that benefiting you?

We host an annual in-person business conference, that includes multiple events over 3-4 days. Eventee allows us to easily organize our business and social events, allowing us to share the info with attendees without printing hundreds of paper agendas. What do you like best about Eventee?

From event organiser's point of view, the app is very intuitive and easy to be set up. Also the look and use for attendees is kept informative and user friendly. Thier networking feature eliminates massive contacts and attemps to reach parties that are not the right match. It is great that Eventee has a few levels of features you can secure for your event. If you want advaced feaures (for example branding to elevate futher your brand through Eventee App), this is possible. You can upgrade in the middle of the process of setting up your event. We have been using the Eventee App for multiple events now and everytime we come back, a new innovation is introduced, which makes it a great experience! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Eventee?

I would like to see more fields that can be added and customized by the organiser. it would be also great to see list of meetings set up among attendees and be able to edit their meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It provides a great tool accompanying our event, no need to print any details for our attendees, we load all information to the App. It also provides a good way for participatns to connect, set up meetings, view their profiles and research the future business partners.
