We have been an Ethena customer for a couple of years and it has made a fairly complex space easy to implement, sustainable and scalable for any size business. Trainings? Sorted Tracking? Sorted Case Management with access levels? SORTED. I dont even have to mention that you are still able to communciate with someone who has made a report annonimouysly if they wish to receive them being my top feature.
The one thing that truly stands out for me at Ethena though is the fact that if the trainings arent quite hitting the mark (quite rare event) they will still revise and follow through. Two of our employees have submitted feedback and Ethena's response is always 10/10 (Shout out to Erik our account rep who is so supportive to facilitate our needs)
Thank you Ethena! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For a while we were not able to add one off employees to a recurrent training - had to be done by CSV but now they have fixed it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a great balance of humor/light heartedness in the content which is difficult to pull off for topics like Harassment or DEIB, but they keep the tone professional when covering fundamental and serious aspects of these topics. The dashboard, tracking, and delivery of the content is in a great interface and very easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are Learning Management System elements to the product, however I would not consider this a bonafide LMS in that there are features missing. For exapmle, you are not able to customize the thumbnail on the custom content you upload, there is not an easy way to see compliance across an entire reporting structure (Director, Manager, Employee). Also, the custom content is difficult to make edits to mid stream if you already have an assignment out. So that forces you to close the assignment, determine who is still left, and add them to a new assignment while not including the others who already completed. The biggest upside about Ethena is the amount of time and thought they ahve taken in their HR trainings. It treats the viewer with respect and isn't the typical dry HR training. Sure, they can have a touch of cheesy but they aren't the typical doom and gloom type videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only issue I have had with Ethena was during our recent need to be compliant with the new Workplace Violence Prevention Program. The video was rather vague but that I thikn is partially because CA didn't give tons of guidance about what was needed for complaince with the trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working with the Ethena team - these folks are highly adaptable and take feedback into consideration quickly for future enhancements to their product offering. The cost and ease of connecting with knowledgable reps has been imperative to the fast rollout within our organization. The ability for end users to navigate quickly to the resources they need is also a huge benefit. Ethena customer service is on point and we have frequent touch bases to ensure the tooling is meeting our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would love to see more custom reporting options and would also like the ability to limit permissions on roles and have the ability to view an audit trail of activities for users (spec ific to admin users). This will also be a helpful enhancement for future use to identify users who say they completed training (when they may have fast forwarded thru content instead). Would love love LOVE to manage and create my own reporting. Also - really impatient for the Ethena/Vanta integration that was due in July 2024. We're still awaiting this integration which will better allow us to have a holistic view of our compliance training program and reporting hotline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They treat their work as so much more than a check the box exercise and keep material fresh and relevant for our multi-generational workplace. They make the platform accessible (both in format) and intuitive. As an admin it is also a breeze to sync with our HRIS platform (minutes, truly) and do manual adjustments when required is easy. We've also been able to transition many of our internal learning resources to their LMS to better track attendance, completion, and feedback. Our managers and leadership love their analytics which are clear and intuitive as well. The customer support is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't find one. Only that it didn't exist years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Engaging content, mixed media, learner knowledge tests and clear feedback loop related to content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easier incorporation of bespoke content to be able to mix/match or add to their great content. Also, at times the desire to make the content fun or more engaging can come across as distracting to the learner -- lots of metaphors used that can distract from the content / learning outcome. Sometimes less is more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ethena is SO EASY to integrate and the reporting functionality is easy to use. It is easy to set up who should be assigned to what courses and have reminder emails sent. The content is fresh.
The best part of Ethena is their team. They were great partners in making sure our needs would be met during our transition. They were patient and took the time to ensure our data would be clean as having that clean data for audits was important for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Their book of trainings is limited, so I am looking forward to them expanding what offerings they have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ethena has relatable content. It also provides various modalities for different learning styles. I also like how easy it is to track completion and send reminders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that I have to upload a CSV for adding new training for specific inviduals. It would be more efficient if I could just select individuals from a list.
I have had some feedback from employees that they don't like the cheesy videos. However, other employees do like them so it can be hit or miss there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to use and integrate to a large group of employees. Keeps us advised on who has completed training and who may need a push, Keeps HR in the loop on topics we need to be in compliance about. Customer support is very good and responds fast. Excellent work! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no negatives and have been using this platform for a year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ethena's short modules offer employees a flexible training methodology. The videos provided are well throughout out, offer the the required information, and I enjoy that the videos auto-save. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the other hand, ethena, like a lot of training -related companies, has video that are a bit cringey at times. While the acting is not terrible or poor quality, some of the writing comes off as stilted. I also had a hard tome turning on the captioning for my videos: I am not hard of hearing, but if someone were to be, if that feature is still buggy, they may find themselves frustrated. One thing that I liked is that it's engaging and keeps employees interested while delivering important complaince lessons. For example the integration of slack make it easy to assign and track training. Also one can easily navigate to courses which makes it smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One aspect I dislike infact can be improved is that some of the courses can feel repetitive over time, especially if employees have to complete similar modules frequently. Also more personalized customization options could help tailor to one's specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
