The technology employed in eSentire's products is best in class. The time to detection is measured in minutes/seconds, not days, weeks or months. This is critical to any company's security posture to prevent a breach and/or data loss. The only two criticisms I have are that customer service response time has slowed somewhat as eSentire's customer base has increased. We have been assured that this is temporary as the company has increased their security analyst hiring. The second issue is around the marketing of their product lines. This shortcoming has been addressed with the hiring of their CMO (Erin McLean). She has improved the messaging of the firm's products and has clarified eSentire's message around product offerings. eSentire has helped us in many situations. They have alerted us of the most simple of threats, and also of bad actors on our network. Before we even have to triage the situation they block the device(s) and keep our environment safe from lateral movement from the bad actors being on the device(s) that were infected. The platform is user-friendly. In addition, it offers protection against cybercriminals through its alerts and anomalies. Now that I have been an admin of eSentire for a few years, I couldn't be happier with the service. The team is always on time when noticing anomalies, always reaching out and following the escalation procedure, and always providing thorough analysis of the alerts, which makes it easier for us to investigate internally. After an exhaustive RFP process eSentire rose to the top due to their deep bench of people that were experts in different aspects of cybersecurity. They always bring the right expert to the table to discuss our needs, then they help us meet those needs. The alerts we receive are meaningful, detailed, and accompanied by recommended actions. We've been using eSentire for over 5 years. Our experience with them has been great from the very beginning. Implementation is very easy and they are with you every step of the way. They have excellent customer support. Our dedicated customer success manager is always available to help, quick to respond, and loops in other experts when needed to provide expert security guidance. They go above and beyond to make sure we are well-supported, no matter the complexity of the issue. Their threat intelligence briefings and papers are also very helpful. They proactively warn us of current and emerging cyber threats and perform proactive threat hunts which helps us stay a step ahead of potential risks.

No security product or service provider is perfect. When they miscategorize or miss a security event, they learn from it and improve the overall process.
