I've been very pro-EqualTime ever since I came across it, and have been consistently impressed with it as it's continued to develop.
It's a great, easy & free calendar extension and I love being able to see the cold hard data, in real-time, of the equity of a meeting discussion. I can adjust myself or the discussion accordingly as it's happening.
Being able to use data to validate and act on, brings a whole new level of awareness & transparency to a previously opaque thing, and helps me to be a better leader/participant.
I also think the new AI meeting notes & call summaries are great, and look forward to seeing how the product further develops. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you asked me 6months ago I would have said tracking equity beyond the gender lens, but the team at EqualTime are so on it - feel like there's a new update or improvement every time I check! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Equal Time has truly transformed the way I approach time management, not only for me, but for the people in the meetings as well! This app has become my ultimate ally in achieving productivity and balance for the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is always some tweaks that can be done here and there, but you can see how much the team behind Equal Time are commited to constantly deliver, and you know that these flaws will be quickly taking care of. You can really feel that they know about building a solid product, which is really comforting when you take the time to install and discover an new app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Equal Time is an absolute game-changer for virtual meetings, and I'm thrilled to share my positive review.
I am a professor of Organizational Behavior specializing in enhancing meetings and conversations for inclusivity and innovation, I'm highly impressed by Equal Time's capabilities. I use it in my own meetings and my research!
Going beyond basic transcription and automation, Equal Time uses AI to ensure everyone's voice is heard, promoting diversity of thought. The personalized leadership recommendations are a standout feature, aiding in effective meeting facilitation.
The tool's ability to provide searchable and shareable transcripts is invaluable for analysis and strategy refinement. The inclusion of ice breakers, timers, and Rounds adds dynamism to meetings, making interactions engaging and outcomes productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not enough people are using it! Would be better if the other person also had it because then they would be aware of how much or little they were talking, not just me :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Equal Time is truly a game-changer when it comes to virtual meetings. One of the standout features that I absolutely love is the insights into speaking behaviour.
As a consultant and workshop moderator I really appreciate the AI-assistant's ability to involve quieter voices in the discussion is remarkable. It ensures that everyone's input is heard and valued, making the meeting environment more collaborative and democratic. As a result, Equal Time fosters a sense of belonging and encourages diverse perspectives, leading to richer and more well-rounded outcomes.
The searchable and sharable transcript is an incredibly handy feature that facilitates efficient post-meeting follow-ups. It allows me to revisit specific discussions or decisions, making it easier to maintain accountability and track progress on action-items. Sharing the transcript with team members who couldn't attend the meeting ensures that everyone is on the same page, regardless of their availability during the live session.
If you want to improve your meetings, I strongly recommend to try out Equal Time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Equal Time is undoubtedly a powerful and innovative tool, there are two aspects that could be improved:
One potential area for improvement is the accuracy of the transcription. Although Equal Time's AI-powered transcription is reliable, there is still room for enhancement, particularly in recognizing specific dialects, accents, or domain-specific terminology in German. Improving accuracy would facilitate post-editing and searching for specific sections within the transcript. English is working quite fine.
Additionally , while the cost estimation feature is valuable, it would be beneficial to have more detailed insights and customisation options for the factors contributing to the meeting's cost.
Despite these minor suggestions for improvement, Equal Time is undoubtedly a valuable tool that has transformed the way I conduct virtual meetings. Its dedication to inclusivity, actionable insights, and engaging features make it an essential asset for any team looking to maximize productivity, inclusion and collaboration. Equal Time stands out to me for its remarkable ability to foster inclusivity in virtual meetings. It goes above and beyond mere minute-taking by providing valuable quantitative insights into participant involvement. Rather than solely focusing on identifying speakers, it considers factors like frequency and timing, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of engagement and contributions. Moreover, I greatly appreciate the AI-powered summaries and action items that significantly streamline post-meeting tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although Equal Time has proven to be an invaluable tool, I did encounter a slight learning curve when I first began utilizing the platform, particularly in relation to its settings. The array of customization choices available is truly impressive, but it took some effort to grasp the optimal adjustments required for varying meeting formats. Nonetheless, I've observed consistent enhancements in the user interface design and the guidance provided to users, resulting in a significantly more intuitive and user-friendly experience over time. It's great to have a tool that visualizes speaking time. This allows you to easily spot who is talking the most and who is talking the least. If I notice someone isn't getting equal air time, I can ask for their opinion more. As an engineering manager, this is invaluable to make sure all voices on my team are heard! The automated meeting summaries and actions have become invaluable, and the transcripts are all in my archive ready to be searched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a real-time app for Teams! But at least Equal Time has real-time apps for Zoom and Google Meet, and with Teams, I can get all the speaking time data emailed to me right after the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you would love to know if really all voices in your team are being heard and thus included in online discussions and brainstormings, you should install this extension.
It will be an eye opener especially for the ones among us who thought they are providing everyone equal chance to participate in a conversation.
This alone would have been enough of a good a reason for me to use Equal Time, but given that it also provided summaries of online meetings and I can even send my bot to a webinar that I can’t attend, makes it even more interesting. Everyone has one or another thing they can’t attend due to time conflicts. But be aware that in smaller webinars or gatherings there might be an etiquette around bots joining without permission or previous notice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transcripts of German language could be better. But I understand this is a learning journey for the AI as well, so looking forward to improvements coming here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find equal time a great way to get insights about my meetings. Often during a team meeting, it can be hard to perceive how much time each team member received to speak on a topic. Getting a breakdown is invaluable for ensuring all viewpoints are being considered and a tool to help coach junior team members who aren't participating in discussions.
I also enjoy the small touches included in the app, like ice breakers which allow me to avoid scrambling on Google for an ice breaker for meetings I host when folks are still joining. Getting a report after the meeting with details about someone being more than 3 minutes late is also a nice touch to see if someone is not consistently respectful of everyone's time. The transcript occasionally gets some words wrong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Equal Time is its transformative approach to managing meetings. As someone who attends and conducts numerous meetings every week, I've seen firsthand how it optimizes time, promotes inclusive participation, and ensures everyone's voice is heard. The speaking time analytics feature is especially valuable; it visually represents how the airtime is divided among attendees, fostering a balanced and fair discussion space. While Equal Time's automated transcriptions are generally quite accurate, there can be occasional hiccups when it comes to complex technical jargon or people with heavy accents. These small errors can sometimes lead to misunderstandings or confusion in the AI-generated meeting summaries. Though the tool is improving, it's important for users to cross-verify the generated summaries against their own notes, especially for critical points. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
EqualTime lets me know what's going on in our meetings: both the surface level content with helpful summaries, and below-the-surface stuff like making sure that everyone is getting heard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My IT department is a bit slow to approve things, so onboarding can be a bit slow. But that's not the fault of Equal Time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Equal Time is simple, automated and easy to use. It doesn't require any extra leg work and the reports are very clear and actionable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have no complaints so far about Equal Time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
