The ability for customers to ask questions of other customers is key. Be able to ask employees questions is great, but to actually be able to ask questions of those that own the product is essential for more complicated products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Emplifi Social Commerce Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The major issue we are addressing is that some questions (especially on complicated products like electronics) are really hard to answer unless you have spent a great deal of time with the product. With a large selection of products it's difficult for our employees to know all the ins and outs of every product. That is where the expertise of people who already own it come into play. As an ecommerce retailer, we have always wanted to provide prompt answers and assistance when shoppers have questions around their interested products or buying processes. However, our product assortment covers a diverse group of categories that would require a huge amount of human resources if we hire specialized staffs to answer all questions for all categories. Social Q&A is a perfect solution to empower our tech savvy customers to help their peer shoppers with their first hand buying experience and knowledge, all at the same time while saving our in-house staffing resources. What do you like best about Emplifi Social Commerce Cloud?

Writing the code to do Ratings&Reviews (R&R) and Questions&Answers (Q&A) is complex. The TurnTo product removes the barrier to entry for any site to get R&R/Q&A live on their platform. Product has some solid feature sets that make it a quick win to add to your site.

Team is responsive when you have issues or roadblocks.

It takes care of the main components of R&R/Q&A, but there are some features that could be added to enrich the experience. (ie. customers photos, leader board, etc...)

Ask and Answer allows potential customers to query other purchasers if they have a question about a product. We saw higher revenue per visit when we A/B tested including Ask and Answer on product pages versus just product reviews.
