The user interface seems to be easy for most to understand and use which is beneficial for a workforce which is not typically tech savvy in my organization. The ability to differentiate employees access levels and notifications is key to keeping the right people aware. An example is an incident is reported to the manager of a particular location rather than to all managers at all locations. The training module has been beneficial as well, I can create my own training requirements, set them to be one time or annual refreshers and push the information out to specific locations or specific employee types. I can also create quizzes to verify the key information is understood from the electronic training information. The knowledge base is a wonderful tool available to find suggestions and possibly discover another way to address an issue. The ability to submit product suggestions is also awesome. I like the ability to see in an instant the dashboard of our current company statistics such as TRIR, Near Misses, Incidents, etc. Additionally, we are able to see training status across the company as well as the current audit & inspection status for each month. There are certain reporting capabilities missing in the program. Specifically the ability to report on work observations by person completing the observation. Integration is a challenge that we are still trying to figure out so it can communicate with our other systems. The issue is the size of our company and not having a true IT department to work on it. This requires the administrators to be comfortable with software and user settings to accomplish tasks. One challenge with the training section is the inability to create a quiz with fill in the blank section (at least I haven't figured it out yet). One challenge with the product suggestion section is EHS Insights backlog is significant and though I know they are improving the product all the time; the changes we might need are not being addressed. We do understand that the request might be significant code changes which is just not feasible for EHS to implement since the request comes from a minority of the organizations using the product. A recommendation is to review the suggested improvements often and like those that make since for your own organization as well. This gives weight to the backlog process and could help to get something addressed sooner. Hazard identification and risk assessment seem to be a slightly similar modules though the differentiation is slight and depending on how your company currently considers each, you may need to adjust processes to fit the limitations of the program. This is also true of the JSA module which we elected to not implement. The challenge for our organization is the inability to have workers other than our internal workers (i.e. clients we work for) to sign our JSA. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

EHS Insight enabled our organization to bring all EHS application under one platform and provides access to all employees while allowing the safety team to manage the process and data. The EHS Insight is adaptable and configurable to our specific needs without extra fees or significal IT support. Their customer support is always available and willing to colaborate and help. The one stop shop for all things EHS in our company is saving us time, money, resources and improving our safey culture. It is requesntly used by all company employees. While very intuitive and easy to use for the end user as well as integrate into operations, it sometimes take time to configure the application for our individual and sometimes very specific needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the customization, prompt customer service and self help tools. The ability to add and remove modules on a subscription basis is great. EHS is always making improvements to the system as well. I wish hazard IDs could be entered and closed out as one item (hazrd, action assignement and closed. Currently, when you enter a hazard ID, it sends this information to someone to do a risk assessment.This should be done under just hazard ID, as it simplifies it. It is the most user-friendly system ever and makes life easy for EHS professionals. It's really easy for our techs to use. The pre-built reports are extremely helpful for managers. The mobile version is great too. I also love the help section. It's a great tool to help me learn on my own time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's always room for improvement, but overall the system is great. Perhaps moving faster on implementing suggestions? I do appreciate the voting feature. One of the challenging things in using EHS Insight is understanding what steps need to be completed in some of the workflows. Sometimes, the completion of workflow steps within some modules (i.e., Incident Event, CAPA) will overlap, which could be a bit confusing to a new user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system is fairly intuitive and reasonably easy to setup on your own with the provided resources. Everything loads quickly and the mobile app never seems to have any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There were some pretty critical settings at the beginning of the setup which were easy to get wrong (and we did). Now those setup flaws are permanent features in the system. I think they should have had someone spent the 2-3 hours to sit down with us and made sure we knew what we were committing to; it just seems too critical.
It's also important to note that specific modules are highly customizable and others inexplicably lack it. Some modules including Safety Drill feel like they are half completed projects (for example, you cannot track and run reports on who attended or missed drills).
They could also have provided better generic resources that could be sent out to company members to show them how to do something. YouTube or Knowledge Base support material to walk people through, say, filing an incident report for an injury.
