I think Edsby is a unique platform. Teachers can use the Grader to evaluate student work, and Edsby's Evidence of Learning is fantastic. Teachers and students can capture their work, reflect on it, attach expectations to it and build out a thorough portfolio of student evidence for authentic assessment. Edsby helps our students, parents, and faculty to connect and communicate about the learning in and outside of the classroom! Edsby has helped staff to share information and student progress or areas for improvement with ease. The Edsby interface is very intuitive, and so allows for ease of access as well. The challenges we have had with Edsby are more on the backside of things - such as when there are "known issues" and the timeliness of things being updated. Also, often there would be new features added that we didn't know about before release so keeping staff up to date and trained on these new features was at times tricky. I like how students can submit work digitally, take online tests that are automatically graded and put into gradebook. I like the ease of inputting marks and changing weightings. There's a glitch in the planner now - I used to be able to create a post there and it would show in my class' newsfeed. It doesn't always show nor copy to my other classes. I wish the student averages would automatically transfer over into their report card so I wouldn't have to manually type them in, but I would like them to remain editable. All functions in a school can be digitally managed through Edsby. It take cares of the attendance, class schedules, grades, assessments, parent teacher interviews along with school wide communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that students can submit their work directly to me via Office365 and their grade book. It is excellent that I can control if parents can message me or not. I also love the ease of use of creating assignments as opposed to in Microsoft Teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not like that when I am in Grade Book I do not receive messages from my students. Also, having a way for students to collaborate through messaging would be great instead of having to send them to a different software. Massive functionality. The best integration of SIS and LMS anywhere. Customizable, but the power lies in the easy to use interface. Forget multiple clicks to do a simple task, Edsby is designed for the end users... but has the power in the back end for the administrators :-) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
