What I like best about Dooly is the pipeline editor. It helps being able to only see the fields that I need to worry about and not get lost from other irrelevant data points. On top of this, I can bulk update opps from Salesforce and even take meeting notes that sync directly to the opportunity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is great, although on small room for improvement would be the option to convert a lead in dooly. I have to go to saleforce to convert the lead to an opportunity then back to dooly to edit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Salesforce and calendar integrations mean I never forget to take notes, and notes are immediately synced back.
Also, the ability to create tasks directly from a note is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Mac app is not the most stable and is sometimes slow to respond. Finding previous notes from within the Dooly app can be tricky (but easy from Salesforce).
Dooly tries to go beyond notes into opportunity management - I find that feature set redundant (and ultimately annoying for sales reps) as you have the same capabilities in CRM and other systems.
But you can just ignore it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use is really great! Didn't take much at all to be proficient, and support/faq for easy help
Well connected to our CRM and other software. I love being able take real-time or off-line notes from within my standard calendar; saves a ton of time, and is how I think about my work structure anyway. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Haven't spent enough time slicing/dicing views as a way to organize sub sets of notes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dooly is an highly efficient and effective addition to Salesforce that makes its easy for our AE's to gather customer Intel, back into SF. They're able to grab any passing Contact from emails, LinkedIn, etc and record their call notes INSTANTLY back into Salesforce.
Our top AE's have created their own Playbooks, or use company templates to gather information they need to accelerate their deals. We re-use these proven playbooks to provide new AE's with the benefit of their experience and best practices, to vastly speed up our on-boarding of new sales people.
If you value quality notes, a predictable and repeatable sales process, highly accurate forecasts and happy AE's, get Dooly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally, Dooly loses the tight connection it shares with Salesforce for sync'ing, but once it reconnects nothing is lost and you're back to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dooly is a much easier tool to navigate than Salesforce and allows for better views of all my opportunities at once. It's an easier place to make quick adjustments and I'm confident those updates will be reflected in Salesforce accurately and in real time.
For deeper dives into accounts and opportunities I still rely on Salesforce but for note taking and updating primary details, I do all that in Dooly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search functionality can leave something to be desired. It sometimes struggles with sorting between accounts, opportunities, and contacts. I also miss the previous version where you could add highlights to your opportunites. It's not been rolled into a general comments section. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I mostly use some pre-defined templates my team created. Dooly is very easy to use and it is also easy to add Salesforce fields and quickly sync the information/data with Salesforce which helps me save time in my day-to-day work as a busy CSM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is sometimes cumbersome or buggy when I try to erase text and it takes me back to the title of my template for some reason. But this isn't a major issue overall Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce making my life easy Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think the sync. to SF can be a bit slow at times, but I am pretty sure it's because of the way we setup the integration and now becaus eof Dooly Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When I was starting at my new company, the battlecards I created were super helpful in discovery calls when I was trying to stay focused on the conversation and not need to think on the fly so much.
Having my notes sync to Salesforce and also have all the notes in one scrollable page per opp is helpful to go back and refresh myself on what was discussed.
The Dooly team is speedy responsive if I have any questions as well! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't used any other note taking app so I can't say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The ability to make custom note templates
- The link directly to SalesForce
- The Chrome extension allowing you to access Dooly from your calendar
- Auto Save Notes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, nothing. It does exactly what I need it to do consistently and is far better than the alternative of manually entering notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
