I like being able to send multiple days/times for a meeting to a group of people all over the world. It makes scheduling so much easier than going back and for with emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing specifically. It's simple, easy to use and get the jobs done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doodle Poll is really effective for getting large groups of people to respond to questions quickly. I work with students and it is hard to get them to respond to emails to let me know when they are free but if I send a doodle poll and they can just click a few buttons to indicate the time slots they are available, students will actually respond and quickly. Its also great for when I am trying to coordinate and find a time that a large group of students are available, it sorts it out nicely so I can see when everyone is most available. The only thing I don't like is that I have to pay extra to get the additional features. It would also be pretty cool if there were templates that already existed. For example, if I am doing a poll to see when people are available if there was a survey that would auto-populate a typical week schedule or something like that. Easiest and most convenient way to coordinate with peers--especially for college students. We all have busy but very different schedules, and it's hard to meet up for homework groups or for club meetings. Doodle allows us to find the 1 hour a week that all of our free time overlaps! There's not much else you can do other than coordinate meetings--in the future, it might be better integrated into Google Calendar or something so it already knows when I'm free! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
my favorite part of doodle is that everyone can access the link and pick the times that work for them, and the administrator picks the time that works for everyone. It just gives plenty of options and makes it possible to schedule a recurring meeting according to every person's schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the scrolling. having to scroll through in order to figure out everyone's eligible time. Wish it was set up in a different way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very flexible solution for both finding a consensus meeting time or scheduling individual meetings with a bunch of people, without having to install and app or reveal your whole calendar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mobile support isn’t great, especially on poll/calendar options that require a lot of horizontal scrolling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that Doodle is user-friendly, very easy to figure out. I also like that adding your work calendar is optional: you can enter your own time and date preferences instead of linking separate accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that the 1:1 feature does not give you a run-down of the people who signed for your meetings as well as their selected time slots. It only records the last person who signed up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like Doodle as a tool of organization for scheduling meetings and upcoming dates in to my calendar. The great thing about this is that I can send the link to the Doodle calendar to anyone who I am trying to set up appointments/meetings with and they can see a list of my availabilities, where I am booked, where I am free, and what time slots/dates work best. This way, nothing gets overbooked, I have designated time slots for everyone and also myself and I can stay organized without over booking myself or double scheduling other people. There is not a lot to dislike about Doodle. I think my only concern is that I have to weekly adjust and update the schedule if things become too overbooked and someone does not cancel, (or confirm) it will stay in my calendar until I manually remove it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Doodle really helps when there are a lot of people involved in a meeting and we're trying to find what works best. It's good for scheduling events, polls, and inviting people for their review. There's helpful parts like keeping a poll secret so you don't see everyone's responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be tricky when you're working with people across the country. How to deal with different time zones wasn't immediately obvious. One odd downside is that it isn't ubiquitous so people often work around it via e-mail chains etc. Not sure why it hasn't gotten more buy in, in part it could be due to the free version we currently use which still has ads in it.
