The fact that it is available during COVID times. Having the ability to remotely notarize is vital...but regret the choice of platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not fully aware of fees until too deep; so many glitches; e-signature process not intuitive, even for the savvy clients (seriously, about 49% success rate). RON process is backward; can't see the client's side of things to be able to help; not able to cancel a signer or a doc in a packet (in e sig). So. much. wasted. time. We regret our choice of RON platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use. The platform appears to be secure and intuitive. I like the verification credits. Being a Notary Public, verification of the person signing a document is the most crucial part of my work. This platform should give me the confidence that I am providing accurate services. It is one of the platforms recommended by the Secretary of State for Maryland. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing at this time that I dislike. The cost may be a factor. Hopefully the benefit of having a service that will provide accurate and efficient service will offset the cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I compared DocVerify with multiple other RON platforms and it was by far the easiest to navigate. From the video archives to the easy document management, I highly recommend DocVerify to anyone needing remote singing or notarization. The easy upload of the certificates, the easy document upload and the easy way to send documents back and forth to 3-sign is a great feature. In the legal field, we often need to have documents notarized and it is not always convenient to travel back to the source. DocVerify solves this problem for us and allows us to utilize e-signing, remote notarization and document management all in one place. Additionally, the ease to connect with a third-party for verification is another incentive to go with DocVerify.

The turn around time to get up and running could be faster, but I realize in this type of service verification is important and could take time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The setting was painless. As a solopreneur I am always watching the cost of programs that are new to my business needs. So far, what they offer works and being that they are accepted by any state that is allowing RON, this works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The uncertainty of costs as I do not yet know what my needs are. As RON is new to many states, and businesses for that matter, this will be interesting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, the system is complicated, buggy , when you have to re-start the whole thing they charge you credits again. it is not a friendly system and worse there is no live help you during a closing when you are in a jam. As soon as my month expires and I have the chance to get another service I will. I am in law school and I perform notarizatons on the side to make some extra cash but this thing made me loose time, money and clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything, please see above. but what I dislike the most is how cheap this company is and disrespectful to the users by not having any live help at all when you are in a jam, I would not even care about paying extra for support. The id verification is a NIGHTMARE, the system is buggy and I haven't been able to get anyone to verify their ids and I got charged for everytime that it did not work. I hate this system and I am only using because I did not figure out another one but I called the notary associaton and they told me that they are receiving many complains and provided me a list of services. DocVerify is easy to use and navigate through a notary transaction. Support staff get back to you quickly via email. I like how DocVerify does the ID check and sends email when it's been completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No one to call when need help or instructions. Did not provide step by step instructions and had to figure out how to navigate through training sections. After the notary job is done the signatures are very small. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The upside; the notary remains independent and pretty much has control when to schedule the notarization; the platform is also great for non notarial documents that require e signatures, watermarks, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform needs to improve on providing a better fee structure. A flat fee per notarization would be nice; instead of working with credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
NOTHING. THIS PROGRAM WAS A WASTE OF MONEY Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
IMPOSSIBLE TO USE BOTH ON THE NOTARY SIDE AND THE CLIENT SIDE. I WASTED MORE THAN SIX HOURS TRYING TO GET DOCUMENTS LOADED AND READY FOR SIGNING ONLY TO HAVE THE SYSTEM MIX UP FAMILY NAMES FOR THE PARTICIPANTS ON THREE SETS OF DOCUMENTS, NOT VERIFY MY WITNESSES IN ONE OF THREE, AND MY CLIENT COULD NOT GET HER DOCUMENTS EXECUTED AS IT DID NOT ALLOW HER TO SCROLL THROUGH TO READ EACH PAGE, INITIAL WHERE INDICATED AND SIGN THE INDIVIDUAL PAGES--A MUST FOR ESTATE SIGNING Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User-friendly portal for uploading documents for notarizations, very helpful FAQs help navigate the website and notarization process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fillable form fields on documents are not very edit-friendly. Unable to substitute a document once the notary transaction is created (but before the actual notarization takes place) if you notice an error in the document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
