DocuSign is easy to use for me and others that I send digital documents to for signing. I like having an accountable trail that let's me keep track of documents that I have sent out to get signed. The document editing tools makes it easy to add signature fields. I can also create documents from scratch through the DocuSign platform. There are many professional templates offered that we can use to save time making solid documents with strong legal wording. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I sometimes run into some problems with companies not accepting digital signatures from DocuSign or any other digital signing platform. It can be a letdown to know that we pay for these services and can't use them in some circumstances. I think that more organizations are becoming more and more open to digital signatures though. It is simple to use and is highly user friendly. Even if you are not registered user and someone adds them as signer using their email address they will get the link to validate the document and provide signature along with required fields that is setup by initiator and it cost less then other users.
I use it on a daily basis to get contracts signed by both my company and vendor. We have also integrated the DocuSign with ARIBA so that once the document is signed a repository will create in ARIBA . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting feature can be enhanced and more fields can be added like filter by signatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been a systems admin for over 4 years - I've learned how to administrate programs such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, various CRMS and telephony systems. I can confidently say the admin console is cumbersome and overly complicated. I tried cancelling our account but was unable to, which led our account to autorenew. When I explained the situation to their collections team, they were inflexible and not considerate at all for our experience. I repeatedly asked to resolve the issue amicably, explain the situation, speak to a manager, have our case escalated it, and received no support. It took Docusign on average 3-4 weeks to respond to our emails. This issue started in August 2024, it is now March 2025 and it is still not resolved. We are a small mom and pop operation. I am a team of one (1) person, and I will likely never use Docusign again because this experience has been a huge drain on our limited resources and unsatisfactory.
TLDR: their autorenew policy on contracts is predatory and their collections team is uncooperative. I would expect better customer service from a company that has a large monopoly on the market and presumably enough money to dedicate resources to these kinds of issues. Docusign is integrated with Salesforce and it is easy for us for send documents for signature process and also capture the signatures in the documents and maintain everything based on the workflow we create in the same record for tracking purposes. We also have track of how many people the signature request has been sent to and also have a log of parties that signed the document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one issue that we are facing in the current workflow is indicate docusign if the party has sent the signed documents in an email, it just keeps sending remainders to the parties. This limitation has been a blocker for us and had to implement additional code on our end to stop those emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing because I found another company that offers the same thing cheaper and simpler and better in every way Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
deception and theft (charged me months after I canceled subscription), was not user-friendly, very confusing packages and rules, difficult to figure out, constantly changing the software around, VERY LIMITED SUPPORT (and none when you really need it) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Among all the electronic signature tools I've used, DocuSign stands out as the most user-friendly and accessible for managing signature processes. It has great options to customize default signatures and update them as needed, which simplifies the handling of similar documents that are repetitive. The customer service I've received has been excellent, they are very reliable and fast in their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At first it took me some time to get familiar with setting up specific permissions for multiple signers, but once I got over the initial learning curve the tool has become very intuitive for me, so cheers to all! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer login flow is not working properly
UX is ma ess and very hard to find things
Cancelling plan is impossible - the pages redirects me to another place or asking me to complete puzzles, why? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an Admin Docusign is Easy to Use and implement. It's integration with User Details is interesting. Customer support is very strong. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ther is not anything to dislike about Docusign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, the product itself is okay—it does what it's supposed to, and we haven’t had too many technical issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The aggressive upselling is exhausting. Every interaction feels like it’s focused on squeezing more money out of us rather than addressing our actual needs. It’s frustrating to deal with a new sales executive every time, which makes it hard to build any meaningful relationship or continuity. They seem to prioritize revenue from companies rather than offering genuine support or tailored solutions.
We use it for basic e-signature needs, but at this point, we’re reconsidering whether it's worth continuing. The service works, but the pushy sales tactics and lack of consistent account management are becoming too much to ignore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Literally nothing. It should be easy to to use and it is, but when you think you are done and click finish, it goes into no where land and you cannot find the finished document anywhere and neither can docusign. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No customer service. I have no one to call or get help from and just robo help, which is no help whatsoever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the ease of being able to sign a document electronically and send it to other signatories. It is seamless and easy. I like that I can see the progress of the document in terms of which signatory needs to sign it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This could be a feature that exists but that my organization has not made available to its employees, but I dislike that I cannot add my own template to my Docusign account. In many instances I have needed to send the same document, but adjusted a few fields for date or name, but I have had to create it from scratch each instance. I also dislike that Docusign will not allow me to change my last name, which I legally changed once I got married. I changed it in my account settings, but I could not adjust my actual signature.
