As the name suggests, the DNS management platform is really easy to use and accessible. In addition to this, the support team is very responsive and super efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I must admit that there is not much negative to say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DNSimple offers a comprehensive platform to manage web hosting, DNS and mail services through its user-friendly GUI. Within a few steps, we can propagate the request to a web server and establish a virtual host for the system. Since all administration and hosting control panel is maintained in a single platform interface, it's easy to track the cost factors and provide more flexibility to our services. Its documentation can add up to its latest feature inclusions. Updated resource & support blogs will further help with the learning curve of its services. All remaining aspects are suitable for our enterprise network management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We primarily use the DNS offering by DNSimple, and it has been amazingly stable in our experience.
We use the Node.js API library provided by them for managing our records dynamically and have been happy with the documentation and functionality.
During our years of usage, we have only had to open two support tickets for observed strange behavior - once for geographical synchronization issues and once for record consistency in a single location. Troubleshooting with DNSimple's technical team was a joy in our experience. Discovering the race conditions allowed us to obtain insights and (surprisingly?) made us feel more reassured about the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although we did experience issues as mentioned earlier, it's hard for me to put it down as a clear negative due to how fast and well they resolved it, and we haven't seen the same issue twice during the years.
We believe linking DNS templates more closely to the actual zone records could be beneficial - so that when you update a template, all the zones are updated. Right now, if you change a template, you need to update the relevant (previously deployed) zones yourself, so that can be a bit of a pain in implementing templating as of now.
And the future roadmap is not publicly available - so when you request a change, you don't have an excellent point of reference where you could track its progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it effectively imports DNS records and integrates smoothly with the API. As an assistant to content creators, I also like that it meshes well with Wix, Square Space, and Wickr for website development purposes. I admire that DNSimple is fluid with better security compared to previous domain management platforms I have used in the past. In general, it's a safe, secure, and reliable provider. As an ops associate, I often assist our nonprofit's digital department with creating and setting up new domains. I do not like that even with their most expensive "so-called" business plan, it's still an added / extra expense to make more than five domains, but I appreciate that they are upfront about that cost with their transparent pricing in the first place. As the name suggests, the DNS management is simple. Ability to add CNAME to apex records, option to redirect, issuing the LetsEncrypt certificates, APIs are good enough for any use case.
Overall top notch service with reasonable pricing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing much to dislike, I would have liked the integration with heroku to automatically update the certificates too, currently it only updates the DNS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Clear packages, no hidden costs or fees, annual payment and GREAT (trust me, REALLY GREAT) customer support and an API to automate your domain management.
They incorporated one-click setups for most common use cases so, you might just purchase your domain and be one click away from managing your corporate email and redirecting traffic to your website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You need to get a package with certain allowance, so, you might end up on a package which gives you the possibility of having 10 domains when you actually need only 6 or 7. There's no "pay as you go" or "pay per use" package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buying domains with this platform really is VERY simple. After setting up an account, buying the domains takes only a few seconds. The setup is pretty straightforward and easy to apply as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My company uses a lot of different accounts to manage different clients. The platform gets a bit wonky with that, and the names start overlapping which gets really annoying. trying to click on one client and accidentally clicking another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to use, from domain registration to DNS registration and service. The service based and custom DNS record template feature is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike the pricing. However, their service does outweigh the expense for me and my business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I certainly can describe DNSimple as an ultra simple DNS Service full featured with backed DNS configurations for many common applications like Gmail, Tumblr, Blogger, etc. Those "backed configurations" follows the 'next next finish' principle which is very handy.
Also, DNSimple counts with a 'new' record called URL which allow Heroku users uses their CNAMES pointing to domain's root. i.e. foobar.com pointing to foobar.herokuapp.com. So, if you're a Heroku user, I can surely recommend to you move to this service. This is the most important and liked feature in my experience with DNSimple.
DNSimple price is very accessible. Only few dollars/month without domain limit. When you join, there is no raise in price as days go by.
In comparison with Amazon Route 53, DNSimple wins with its simplicity, stable and almost awarded features (like URL DNS type) and fixed price.
If you use VPS, like Linode, you'll have a great improvement from Linode's DNS manager. Without Domain Limits, DNSimple turns a great option for Linode users as well.
For simple users, like bloggers, youtubers, etc, DNSimple will guide through wizards to help you setup your domain and connects it to your service. This way you can have the fastest configuration done than ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no analytics panel available. This may deal breaker for some DNS power users.
Also, there is no ping tool to keep your domain available 24/7 based on ping response time (Time to Live). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easily configure DNS settings for your domain. No issues or down time with their servers to date. The web interface is intuitive and responsive.
DNSimple is one of the few providers that allows an ALIAS record for the top-level apex domain name. This means that you can easily host your top level domain with a PAAS such as Heroku. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Domain name registration yearly pricing is expensive compared to other options that exist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
