cleaning and maintaining CRM data in less time with DT 2.91. I have not used the new version V. It is slick but it does not have all functionality like the 2.91 version. The different modules of this tool help us match, update, delete and merge data in different ways which help our team spend save less time in fixing and analyzing data and improve our productivity and deliverability. I can't thank enough Aja CSC manager at Validity for her outstanding support. She is always there for us even she is on vacation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing much to say here, but it would be good if version V will have similar functionality like 2.91 would be good. It would be good if bulk- backup has the option to filter to select metadata objects vs objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ability to schedule automated jobs -- for example I've scheduled an automated Contact de-dupe and merge process. They give you a lot of options on the confidence level of the match (i.e. email address and last name exact match with first name first letter match, vs. fuzzy match) so you can work with your team on what level of confidence you are comfortable with when executing a bulk de-dupe and merge. 1) Mac is not supported! My company provides only Macs to employees so we have to use a digital machine with Windows to utilize DemandTools.
2) The user interface is outdated. It feels like software from 2004. There's a bit of a learning curve partially due to the complexity of the UI, and partially due to the extensive options available to customize your data processes, but the functionality makes up for this. DemandTools makes every data task so much easier than it would be doing the work in Salesforce alone or using the DataLoader product that Salesforce makes available. It is truly the gold standard and I have been using it throughout my entire career. I'm at the point where a company has to have DemandTools for me to even consider working for them. The only think I don't like about DemandTools is while their Power Grid product is super helpful when I create a scenario and pull up some data I can't go back and modify the filters that I've used to pull that data. I can save the scenario and then load it again to play with the filters a bit but it's a few extra steps that could be avoided if they just had a 'modify filters' button or something similar. Ease of use. Previously, writing a query and trusting the base dataloader to write complex queries and subsequently make mass updates was cumbersome and time consuimg. With DemandTools, everything is simplified (and this was even before the upgrade to DemandTools V)! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the new features in DemandTools V are a bit more complex than in the previous UI. However, this is more of a user issue so my only complaint would be to publish more help articles or hold some more 101/201 sessions to make sure we're using the tool to it's full capabilities. Email verification could be better, we notice discrepancies with our other tools so haven't leveraged that fully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the flexibility to edit every object and field in our Salesforce platform in so many different ways. I can upload a spreadsheet I've pulled out of Salesforce, or I can pull a report in Demand Tools directly from the Salesforce platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The User Interface seems to be a little outdated. Once you figure it out it's straightforward, but it's not as easy as Salesforce. There are a few things that make it difficult to navigate unless you know where to go, like having to select a line item and press the delete button in order to unselect it. There are also places that you have to drag and drop and others that you have to click the arrows and there isn't much instruction letting you know to do that. DemandTools has the best in class set of tools for merging, updating and discovery. I haven't found another tool on the market with the full feature set. I utilize every part of the solution in my role as a salesforce consultant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The DemandTools legacy UI Is challenging, the newer version DTV has a much better UI but is missing some features still. Once they align the functionality of DTV, I will utilize it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that scheduler is now built into the new version (even though I was a fan of Job Builder) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new version has quite a few updates to keep up with Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that DemandTools helps me to clean up duplicate data in my org. The customization possibilities are endless! My success manager, Aja, is awesome! She responds quickly to my emails and is always willing to help! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't gotten to use the newest release yet (Not because of an issue with DemandTools but with my own org structure) However, my success manager was able to take my issue to her development team and I will be able to use it in the next release! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite thing about DemandTools is the ability to minipulated thousands of datasets in seconds. Tasks that would have taken my team days to complete can be done in seconds with DemandTools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The downside is the cost. Being a non-profit organization our resouces our limited but there is no doubt that the value for the platform is worth it. I hope that there would be more discounts for non-profits in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I only use this tool for data corrections which barely scratches the surface of its capability. The fact that you can use common label names instead of API names starts the long list of items I love about this product. It allows multiple tabs in a worksheet that allows you to do multiple uploads from one worksheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There isn't anything I dislike about this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
