**What do you like best about DemandScience?**

the team is definitely the most helpful and flexible for us. they have shown great flexibility and transparency for our program to be running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

Like all lead generation programs, you need to prove feedbacks quite rapidly on the leads you have been provided which is not always possible. Even if the team has shown great flexibility for us to adapt to the different timezine, we couldn't always deliver the feedback on time, and for those leads they were not replaced. (feedback time was 2 weeks)

**What problems is DemandScience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a brand awareness issue and thus this is helping us reaching our target in terms of brand awareness and lead generation program. It has been great and the team doesn't esitate to say no when they are not able to commit. This kind of transparency is what we look for in a partner.

The inability to see each interaction of the leads so we can create more targeted outreach after.

PureB2B helps with brand awareness and demand generation. We have a clear total addressable market and personas we are going after. PureB2B helps share our content with our key audiences. This strategy helps us fill top of funnel that we can nurture and engage with afterwards.

**What do you like best about DemandScience?**

I love the fact that I can target all of the senior decision-makers in a particular department with ads without having to know all of their contact details, and the intent data provided through their partnership with Bombora is really helpful in identifying trends and accounts we previously were not targetting.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

The main platform fee is quite steep and then we have to pay for the cost of the display ads on top of that. 

Also, I think there could be better segmentation and targeting for job titles/departments. The specific job titles that we target (RPA and Process Automation folks) are not included on their list of titles that fall under certain departments, making it hard to know if we've selected the right department.

The ability to market to our ABM audiences. Great integration to SFDC and marketo as well.

We are unable to create dynamic audiences that talk to our SFDC so we need to create the audiences within and be exact.

Currently our ABM efforts and attribution data. We actually moved to strictly attribution efforts to stay away from ABM in the platform.

Terminus ABM integrates well with our CRM, enabling robust analysis and segmentation.  Additionally, the team has an aggressive product roadmap and incorporates our product feedback

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

The Terminus + Linkedin integration is limited to 1 LinkedIn account.  Since we have several, we really can't leverage this feature.

Terminus enables us to reach our target audience of accounts with display banners and via email signatures.  The scorecard feature facilitates the tracking of nuanced opportunity and revenue results aligned with our lists.

**What do you like best about DemandScience?**

This tool is great for our enterprise accounts. We have many contacts in different business units of our clients. Terminus allows us to see where they are going on our site so we can better recommend solutions to fit their goals.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

A contact has to be in our CRM in order for intent to show up at the contact level. It's good to know that a company is researching your site, but not great if that company is HUGE and has thousands of brands.

We've solved the problem of knowing what our clients and prospects are interested in as well as what competitors they are researching. This allows us to be more relevant when presenting new solutions.

The platform is easy to navigate, and the support is excellent. We were able to get from crawling to walking, then to a higher level of sophistication with our ABM strategy with the help of our CSR and account team.

**What do you like best about DemandScience?**

I have really enjoyed using the Email Experiences feature of the Terminus Platform.  The campaign setup is intuitive and straightforward. Our CSM is always quick to respond to any questions that I have and if she doesn't have the answer she connects me with the right person. I also really appreciate the thought-leadership content that the Terminus team provides around ABM. It has really helped me to step up my game as a marketer focused on building out our ABM program.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

We had some technical issues with Outlook working well with the dynamic campaigns in Email Experiences.   The support team helped us figure out a solution. Our team recently implemented a new sales engagement platform that provided a work-around for the issue we were having.

It helps us reach and engage our targeted accounts with the right messaging and helps us achieve our marketing goals.

Really impressed with how PureB2B rolls several tactics into their approach. We've spent FAR more money on traditional digital tactics like SEM and Paid Social with really lackluster results. So far PureB2B is blowing them out of the water in terms of cost per lead and the companies and titles are strong to quite strong!

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

Our sales cycle is too long to see conversion yet; nothing to do with PureB2B.

**Recommendations to others considering DemandScience:**

Have a campaign strategy at the ready to nurture the new leads; this escalates much more quickly than anticipated!

**What problems is DemandScience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been able to generate a lot of new names for our database in industries where we don't have much brand recognition. We've also been able to create new opportunities as well as build our database in new target industries. This has worked so well for one of our campaigns that we've increased our buy significantly to include other lines of business for 2021 campaign priorities.

Terminus is a powerful tool to run ABM campaigns and build brand awareness. They acquired several companies and released a lot of new features recently that provide a more robust marketing toolset for customers. Terminus provides excellent documentation and training through Terminus Academy, including a training designed for sales teams. And their customer support can't be beat.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

The reporting isn't always as robust as I would like (for example, exporting a CSV from some report views) and it can be difficult to make sure you are properly utilizing all the features that Terminus has to offer.

**What problems is DemandScience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Terminus to target our key accounts through display advertising as well as to retarget visitors to our web properties. Even when we aren't running ads, our sales team is able to take advantage of insights and metrics provided by Terminus in Salesforce, such as site visits, activity spike, and intent signals. This helps our sales team prioritize their outreach efforts and tailor their conversations to address the pain points of the prospects.

I like that I can send them my target account list, and they help generate leads from just those accounts. I don't have to sort through the leads once they arrive; they are precisely the ones I'm looking to grow.

Some leads, like any other provider, bounce. They will replace those with a hard bounce but not soft bounce, and these can be more than we'd like sometimes.

We are very confident we have hitched our cart to the right horse in the world of ABM! Terminus has executed on an aggressive strategy of growing through organic enhancements as well as acquisition. The way they engage with clients for ongoing needs and feedback is very impressive.

PureB2B provides GREAT leads! I used them at my last company and then begged my current one to use them. We had a successful pilot syndication program with them two quarters ago, and we're now running MULTIPLE programs with them. The people are also top-notch! They respond quickly and care deeply about your campaign results. (Big shout-outs to Frank, Marrissa, and Catherine!)

A very small number of emails bounced, but this is expected. They were quickly replaced by PureB2B, so all is good!

I felt that Pure B2B took the time to understand what we are doing as an organization and then designed a program that would work to supplement nicely our current programs with some intent-based leads.   To work with them really was delightful, they were knowledgeable and asked the right questions all the way along - and that is important, it's not sign and done with them, they continue to refine and tweak the program to ensure it delivered exactly what we expected.  

I will definitely use them again!

I didn't feel like we had any downsides...our program started out slowly, but then we made tweaks together and the results started to show - and they were exactly the demographic that they said they would be!

After halting programs in the market in early 2020, we needed to full our lead and nurture pipeline again - they did that very effectively.

We used Terminus as an ABM platform for about a year.  Overall their platform was easy enough to use, and we delivered display ads based on a variety of criteria - including intent data from Bombora, audience selection from our CRM, and their ad delivery algorithm which uses cookies and IPs.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

Our customer service experience seemed to deteriorate when we pointed out UI problems and bugs that definitely should have been caught by their QA team before we found them.  Terminus acquired 3 other companies in our tenure with them, and their technical focus wasn't fully on their flagship product, which (I feel) should have been their primary focus.  One of the companies they acquired was Sigstr, which became Email Experiences, and we use that still.

Account based marketing through display advertising.  Improving brand awareness and trying to stay top of mind with key accounts

Terminus has a very easy-to-use user interface. It makes retargeting a breeze and provides a ton of useful insights to help our marketing team meet our goals. The platform provides useful training videos and webinars to help us get the most from their service. Their customer success team is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make our campaigns successful.

What I like best about PureB2B is their targeting capabilities. I am able to target priority accounts with a specific set of roles/titles. The leads that are returned are high quality -- I immediately place them into a marketing nurture campaign and have our SDR pursue simultaneously. While we are new to PureB2B, we have already closed an opportunity tied to PureB2B.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

Biggest challenge I had was around setting up the Marketo integration. The sync works perfect now, but was missing from the set-up was a clear implementation guide. There are smart folks that work at PureB2B, but not sure they are as familiar with Marketo (so took a bit of time to get the information I needed to complete the lead sync).

**Recommendations to others considering DemandScience:**

Roll out can be a little slow after contract is signed. The best way to expedite launch is to have your materials ready and organized...if you are use PureABM, have your target account list, target suppression list, target titles in spreadsheet. Identify a strong piece of lower/mid funnel content. Best to craft your own landing page messaging, rather than having PureB2B write it...this will speed up the process. If you are integrating with Marketo (or some other marketing automation software) remain on top of the whole process - and be clear about what you need. Once they launch, you won't regret it. The leads are high quality and any lead that misses the mark you will not be required to pay for...PureB2B wants the client to succeed.

**What problems is DemandScience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Two challenges PureB2B helps solve. The first is awareness - we are a relatively small, new company with great growth potential. With a limited budget and clear audience, we need to be efficient with our spend (minimal waste). PureB2B helps us get our content in front of the right audience. Additionally, PureB2B has sourced quality leads for our company. We were struggling with low quality leads prior. With PureB2B, not only do we have a healthy volume of leads generated, but also high quality. At the end of the day, our marketing team is evaluated by revenue contribution - PureB2B has helped us tell a good story in 2020.

One of my favorite things about Sigstr is their ABM capabilities. Being able to run more than 290 ABM email signature campaigns in their platform really extends our ABM efforts into another channel. It also allows for us to have a consistent drumbeat message across every channel we use for our marketing efforts and further show the level of personalization we have in every aspect of our sales process. And, it's extremely easy to get all of these ABM email signatures setup in their platform.

I have no complaints, but I'd love to see ongoing enhancements to reporting capabilities.

The sales team is great to work with, the filters available are great, and the cost per lead is affordable. At previous companies, I was able to grow the database and actually turn leads into engaged MQLs to set up demos. Those previous business continue to use PureB2B today, and report great success.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

With the most recent engagement, I found that about 10% of the leads I purchased were people whose email bounced or who no longer worked at the companies they were tied to when they were sent over. In previous engagements, I didn't have that issue. So I'm not sure if it was a bad rep, a bad source, or if some of the quality changed over time.

Also, the project management was maybe 20% of the engagement and quality I was getting out of a direct competitor at the same time. The check-up calls weren't reviewing the quality of leads, often times there was no agenda, and many times they were ok not meeting. There was no effort put forward to make sure leads were progressing at the rate and quality that we expected.

I was running a side-by-side comparison with a competitor (as mentioned above) and I was really delighted by the competitor's level of engagement, script reviews, quality tracking via shared spreadsheets, and interest in my personal life.

**Recommendations to others considering DemandScience:**

I would demand more out of the project team and keep a close eye on the quality of leads. We've struggled with green field generally, but the leads from PureB2B were of a lesser quality than we expected.

We were trying to get engagement from green field leads and accounts, grow our database, and nurture leads to the sales funnel. We did see some early wins but over time, the results weren't what we expected this time around.

We used their content syndication service + intent. We received great top of the funnel leads within the month. These allowed for net new contacts to be submitted into our database.

We also used their call down services to call down existing marketing qualified leads, previously dispositioned leads and marketing leads that haven't passed our MQL thresholds. This has created a great amount of renewed interest in our products and many appointments for our reps to attend.

Lastly, we had a great team to support us throughout the process to answer any questions or concerns.

Nothing out of the ordinary. The only thing was the amount of prework needed from us, however, that proved to be the reason why our campaigns were successful.

The tool itself is great. It's really easy to set up a campaign, understand the campaign types, and add UTMs. The insights per campaign get really granular up to who exactly clicks on a banner, which is super helpful. Targeting through the tool is relatively easy as well. The Targeted campaign feature really helps us easily execute personalized advertising. Customer support is really awesome as well, they are quick to get involved and help, and quick and clear when resolving any issues.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

The analytics are a bit difficult to understand and would be easier if presented in some sort of visual manner, but that's not currently an option. I wish the weekly analytic emails went out with the data summarized as well. It's also difficult for anyone not using Gmail - while the installation is easy - I often find these accounts disconnect often and become inactive making troubleshooting a constant thing.

**Recommendations to others considering DemandScience:**

Really think about how you would utilize banners before you purchase. Make sure to have a solid plan in place for loading new campaigns and segmenting departments. I would also recommend having the whole company on Sigstr rather than just customer-facing employees.

**What problems is DemandScience solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send more emails than anything else on a day to day basis, so Sigstr allows us to easily promote what's current and relevant without relying on the user to add a link in. We are also able to use 1:1 targeting for ABM accounts which is great because the banner will automatically update without the user having to worry about changing it.

Terminus is an effective product backed by a very responsive team. There is even more to the tool than we have even been able to uncover and/or leverage yet.

The platform itself has a lot of room to grow. They have acquired other pieces of software over the years that remain "bolted on" rather than being fully integrated. There are still some aspects of the tool that should be self-serve but instead involve opening a support ticket to achieve. The UI isn't bad, but it isn't as intuitive as it could be.

Terminus is a great value and is perfect for a small marketing team like ours. Other providers were larger, more expensive, and less transparent. Know that they have room to grow, and make sure to ask to see their roadmap. Know that they have a very responsive and helpful support team that make up for the platform's few shortcomings.

Terminus has demonstrated a remarkable ability to adjust and grow their platform to continue to provide best in class analytics and advertising. I've been a Terminus customer for the last 5 years (at three organizations), and I keep coming back to Terminus because of their platform's continuing strength in analytics and advertising, but also by their penchant for actually to listening to feedback and implementing it.

I also love the Account Hub functionality, and the ability to see how our accounts should be segmented for account orchestration purposes. Being able to filter by engagement, intent signals, and current activity is invaluable for our marketing strategy.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

There's still some work to be done in combining the remarkable data strength of the BrightFunnel platform into Terminus - there are still some divisions between where certain data is available. This has continued to improve with each release, so I feel confident that they'll continue to improve this functionality and provide that view as a "single pane".

**Recommendations to others considering DemandScience:**

I would take the time to fully understand all the pieces of the platform, and see how it transforms the way you view your traditional Salesforce data (which is lead/contact driven) into account-level metrics.

The main problem is the ability to target personas within target accounts at scale. Our organization needs to target thousands of accounts at a time, and the new tools that Terminus has released (dynamic segments) we can target and engage with the right accounts at the right time. We've been able to continually increase our efficiency in our program while simultaneously increase the scope.

Additionally, we've been able to report on account-level metrics in a way that we could not within Salesforce. This additional funnel reporting has enabled additional prioritization of marketing funds and tactics, as well as data purchases.

He wasn't simply trying to sell packages and disappear, he worked as an extension of my department to find a solution and follow it through.  As a result, we were able to build and expand programs that drove pipeline in a short period.  PureB2B has an extension mix of demand gen solutions and relevant audience to support B2B needs.  I've worked in enterprise software for quite some time and PB2B as delivered and has a team that cares about the customer goals first and foremost.  Every role I take, every client I work with I reach out to Cody and ask that we evaluate PB2B as a channel in the demand gen mix.

I really have enjoyed working with PureB2B, not only is the communication excellent but the bio-weekly meeting is very beneficial. One of the perks I have experienced is the ablity to get very targeted contacts that pertain to our audience. The overall lead quality is great since we are able to put the exact filters and requirements we need. Overall it has been a great experience the leads have been extremely promising.

**What do you dislike about DemandScience?**

The only true downside that I see is probably the integration into our marketing automation software but that might lie more on my internal team than PureB2B.  I think overall the leads are good quality for the price paid.

The problem I am solving with the service provided by PureB2B is lead generation and new contacts. As we try to grow our business net new leads are vital for the success and Pure B2B plays an important role. They have constantly delivered quality leads for a cost-effective price.
