I like the ability to customize the time entry view in Time Center, which makes reconciliation process easier. Customer Support is always very helpful and easy to work with. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** CE Field doesn't allow to filter out unsigned time entries or being able to re-export time entries into CE. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Expending integration options. I'm looking forward to seeing how CE Field works hand in hand with Field Logs. I don't like having to update every single deposit and/or ACH payment. But, it has cut my bank reconiciliation time in half.....until we signed up for Bill and Pay. Now, I'm back to 2 hours doing bank reconciliation every month. Also, some integrations that are allowed with export/imports end up bypassing some ComputerEase features. Using it every day it is a system that can be learned in only a couple of months and it is good for accounting. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** There are a lot of manual processes when it comes to payroll. The FieldEase time application is completely antiquated and it is not a time saver when it comes to overtime calcuations and review of nontax entries. The tracking/auditing of updates or changes is non-existant which makes understanding why something happened quite difficult. In addition I feel it helps with estimating new projects. Estimators that are bidding similar jobs that they have in the past can look at past similar jobs to truly understand if their estimate needs adjustment. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** I would say the least helpful part is the API portion. I believe they've made progress but still need to consider more direct open API's with service platforms such as ServiceTrade. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Prior to using Deltek ComputerEase the company I consult for did not have a good job costing program. Any audits that we have, the auditors like the reports that we can generate, some have said the best they have seen. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** This isn't a dislike, just something I wish could be changed. We can't change the vendor number on accounts payable when a company sells to a different company. So have to change the vendor name, then remember what the business used to be called. Example - Laclede Gas is now Spire. The same goes for when an employee gets married. It's confusing to know who to contact for whatever issue you may be having. I have been using the cloud base system of Computerease for the last 10 years and I log into the system daily and never had any issues with getting in. Computerease allows a lot of flexibiltiy; intergration and implementation with our estimating system and the ease of use. The accounting process is very easy to use, easy to navigate through all the modules to find reports and other job/maintenance functions. Customer support has quick response times and excellcent representatives that are very knowledgeable and are willing to help or figure out any issues. They also have webinars to introduce additional features/modules available with ComputerEase which help identify best practices and applications to get the most from the software and I like that they save all training videos for you to access anytime. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** I really don't have any dislikes but I do feel that there is so much to learn and what Computerease can do that it can be a little overwhelming. I have been using COmputerEase for almost 3 years now. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** I really do not have any dislikes. It took a little bit of time at the beginning to understand where everything is and how to use it, but it is pretty intuitive and easy to catch on. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps me see costs on my construction projects quickly and in great detail. I can see where I have additional money to move around, and I can also see where I may be running over on costs. It allows you to streamline various processes done in the system on a regular basis and names can be edited to something that makes the most sense for your specific business. It also helps when setting up new users that may not have a ton of experience with the program. I also like that you can't really delete anything once it's posted to the GL. It does cause reports to look messy if you enter something incorrectly and have to go back and fix it but that makes you focus on making all entires correct the first time and reduces the chance of malicious activity. The custom reporting options are also great it allows you to use the program the best way for your company. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** I dislike the system doesn't have the option to use gross contract values with tax included in certain areas of the program. We do not have Field Ease. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accurate up to date jobcosting, making project management hand in hand with accounting. Being able to store messages, job photos, ect in the job cost package is nice. I like that it provides a wide range of information all in one area. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** The fact that everything important is locked down and can't easily be changed. When CE was doing our weekly payroll, we had less access to our own information, and had to contact CE with any minor problems. The resoultion time was never great for having a dead line for payroll. The lack of a direct phone line to CE is the other biggest issue that I have. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our estimators like the breakdown's that are available in the job center. Some of the stock CompterEase reports are limited and Q Tools allows customization. **What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?** Some of the reports are hard to read. As a user I understand them but when i sent them to Clients or Subcontractors they have a hard time following them. **What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?** The data entry is quite simple from an accounting perspective.
