"Cumbersome UI That Demands Extensive Training"

What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

The User Interface is very Cumbersome and to use the system correctly you need to almost have a dedicated person that has extensive training. Other platforms make it easy to input the date then let the back end do the parsing of the input. With Computerease it is a multi step process to input an expense and easy to mess up which requires a call to the support to correct. The system should have more of a check book input feel. Also inventory is just as complicated. So great potential just they make the interface more to a CPA level of knowledge to make an entry vice geared to a small business owner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?

As it stands the software does not benefit me or my company in making any kind of decisions - great potential but because of the clunky interface it is too labor intensive to get the data into the system. What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

Deltek ComputerEase is an established ERP system that combines proven reliability and long-standing experience with forward-thinking, customer-driven enhancements and ongoing development. Support has been wonderful, with multiple options such as chat, trainings, and personal assistance. They are also broadening their integration capabilities and expanding partner connections to deliver a more comprehensive solution. What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

Many of ComputerEase’s features feel a bit dated, and the overall look and visual experience of the software seems somewhat archaic. I know they are making enhancements, but there are still quite a few areas that need to be updated. Compared with newer software, it isn’t as end-user-friendly; it’s not as intuitive to navigate, and it isn’t easy to visualize and digest the data. I’d also like to see more dashboard-style presentations to make the information clearer at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’ve struggled with their Service module, especially when it comes to billing Work Orders. The overall process feels very cumbersome and difficult to work through. ComputerEase is currently in the middle of an overhaul of the Service module, and I’m hopeful these changes will address many of the issues customers have been experiencing. I love the ease of use, and the continuous updates and tweaks to the programs. The support is fantastic! They are knowledgeable. I appreciate how user-friendly the software is and enjoy the regular updates and feature tweaks that keep the system current. What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

Absolutely nothing. Seriously. Nothing about this program works well, frankly I think a teenager could have vibecoded a better software suite in about an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

Outdated GUI. SLOW, and i mean SLOW to function at all. Parts of the software suite that should communicate seemingly dont. Finding what should be really simple bits of information will take you down rabbit holes and waste your time, you may not even find what you're looking! Their customer support? AWFUL! We booked one of their reps to come to our business and walk employees through how to use the program... the representative was unable to assist with ANY of our concerns, to such a degree that they were nearly BOOED out of the building. What do you like best about Deltek ComputerEase?

All of the modules work with each other, as long as everything is entered correctly by the employee using the system in the office. That said, the system is more complex for some employees, especially when they do not try to understand how the modules connect in order to generate the specific reports you’re looking for or need for your business. What do you dislike about Deltek ComputerEase?

A quick couple come to mind.

The need to contact Deltek on errors or missing information prior to the cloud migration. We struggle with getting issues resolved for what we had prior with our in-house server.

We also should not have to pay an additional cost for the Custom Reports of submitting Certified Payrolls on jobs that are required by the state or federal governments. With as many as need these Custom Reports, you have made a profit no doubt. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Deltek ComputerEase solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently we have an issue with the ability to see reports that are open (which could be 6-10) and not know what the report is without getting the entire screen open. That is not solving anything.
