Decisions gives our team a central hub for communicating our team meeting agendas, projects, and project strategies. It also allows us to work with Microsoft 365 tools to enhance our collaborative work. We work with OneNote, Planner, Tasks, etc. through Decisions. Using this service took the pressure off having to take thorough notes and actions during meetings, which allowed me to be more present and engaged. The meeting recaps were excellent, and thoughtfully organised into sections such as Summary, Key Takeaways, Decisions, and Actions. Although some editing was necessary before sharing the notes externally to add specific business logic, emphasis, and relevance; the notes were high-level enough that little intervention was required. Additionally, the ability to track action items through to completion was a valuable feature that enhanced the overall efficiency and productivity of our meetings. I found it quite difficult and confusing to use initially, which made getting started a challenge. The feature for tracking decisions only works effectively for online meetings when each participant logs in separately with their own ID. Additionally, the automatic sending of transcripts to all members via Teams chat without our approval was a concern. Sometimes editing Recaps and Auto-Generated contents will take a long time, and you won't be able to use much of the Teams until you get out of the editing recap screen. At which point, if you hadn't save, then you need to do it all over again. If you just had a long meeting, this could be an issue. But i figure it could be an easy fix. Creating and collaborating on agendas in Decisions has saved me loads of time - I love that it automatically adjusts the timing so I don't have to work it out myself.
