When I first started with Appointment-Plus 9 years ago it was fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately the service has not improved and actually seems to be having issues with their ability to stay online. There have been 4 instances in the past 3 months when their system was down and we could not access our online schedule. It may not sound like such a big deal unless you are running an office and relying on their system to know who will be coming in and what future openings you have to re-book existing patients and book new patients. Their contact number is only answered if you are a new client. If you are an existing client you will get a recording that says the system does not take messages - "Goodbye". Of course you can leave a message - they will answer in a couple of days. At this point I am not going to change - after 9 years that might be difficult, but if their service and consideration for existing clients does not improve I definitely will. It does have a scheduling system that caters for multiple people and multiple events within the same appointment. I can drag and drop to move appointments around (only in week view) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very heavy on your upload speed. It's agonizingly slow, and whenever the page reloads it takes you back to where you started, not to the action you were in the process of making. For some reason, some historical appointments cannot be moved and have to be canceled and recreated. The integration is limited. There is no logging of who made what notes, so we have to do that manually by adding initials after each note. The client facing scheduling tool is abysmal you cannot limit what appointment types a client sees. You cannot send different notifications by appointment type which is essential. I loved Appointment Plus and all the flexibility it offered. Working with Lia was a pleasure. She was so informative and very professional. She ironed out so many questions we had and was extremely helpful in getting our schedules up and running. She always gave suggestions and helped to make Appointment Plus work for our needs. There wasn't much to dislike. I wish there were quick ways to set up breaks or lunch - like some sort of symbol or quick link to just put in and move on to more scheduling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
