It enabled us to keep QuickBooks and focus on implementing our financial planning and reporting tool before considering upgrading our accounting system and implementing a new financial planning tool. This greater flexibility allowed us to focus more on the tool and leverage the financial reporting capabilities as we are a very small accounting team. Quickbooks still suited our needs from an accounting perspective outside of consolidation, which is where Data Blend stepped in and solved that problem. Some design components aren't the most user friendly, such as date ranges for our connections is a little clunky. It still gets the job done, but it is something you interact with more than other components so it would be nice if it was more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are in the early stages of implementation, but I have been very impressed with the ease and speed with which the DataBlend team has mapped out the project and started the bridge between Salesforce and Intacct. To add a wrinkle, we are implementing Sage Intacct simultaneously, and the coordination between the two projects has been excellent. They have been working on what they can and adapting their workflow to match the needs of the Intacct implementation. Communication has also been super. I have not come across anything at the stage that I do not like about DataBlend. I may find something as we get closer to completing the project, or indeed as we begin using and can update with another review at that time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DataBlend was able to create automated workflows to assist with pushing data into our Adaptive Planning software. This removes any manual steps in our monthly/quarterly financial processes, which provides material time savings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real downsides that I'm aware of. During the initial integration work, there were some delays, but that was driven by our IT security access. Easy to have all data connections in one place. It also allows for easy export to Microsoft Excel for easy manipulation of that data. It can run reports on an excellent schedule. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was a little hard in the beginning but I don't necessarily fault Datablend on this - I had a lot of projects occurring at the same time. They had some changes in the people helping us, but once we got our flow going, it went well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
