DATABASICS Time & Expense Pros and Cons

It's easy to use and straightforward for the most part. DATABASICS has the ability to set up different codes needed (Sick time, on call). With over 700 employees, we are able to extract time logged (and approved) into a spreadsheet without having to manually calculate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

DATABASICS doesn't recognize overnight shifts (when applicable). My employees have a hard time entering their time when they have an overnight shift. Uploading new hires is tedious, and kind of a pain. There isn't an easy way to add a new employee without having to upload all the data necessary through an FTP. It totals hours each day; there should be a functionality where you can toggle back and forth to enter into a calendar view (ie: from 8-9am i did this, 9-9:30 did that, etc.). Maybe even the capability to integrate with an existing calendar (Outlook, Google Calendar) to pre-fill this item. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Helpful by managing our budget by separating expenses out into line items. We keep track of our time and miles through Databasics which also helps us manage our budget and time with employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like, best, the ability to save my timesheet tasks from one week and transfer over to the next week. I find that they also do a good job breaking the jobs and tasks down in an easy to understand manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like least, the constant warnings that it gives when I try to submit my timesheet. I find this cubersome and not worthwhile as, often times, I will have a template saved with certain jobs that I may not have done any work in the current timesheet period. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
