The best thing about the program is the ease of use and the interface. For now, I implement it alongside Sketchup since there is a way to synchronize them, which ensures precision. I have also been able to synchronize the cameras, which makes my work much easier. Now it is my frequently used program for rendering. D5 Render is so intuitive, easy to use, you can learn how to use so easily, its library is so full of everything you need, what I love the most is the vegetation library, the options for render, and the speed of it. the least helpful for me would be the lack of configuration for hdri, when I use some hdri, the scale of is too big and there is no option to change this, would be amazing if D5 add this option to change it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used many rendering software before and I have only started using D5 for 3 days. I see a lot of potential in this rendering software, there's a lot of asset ready that I can simply utilize and use. Scatter is especially helpful. I have only used it in a single project but there's a lot of things I see that is very helpful. Also, it has livesync with other software such as Revit, Sketchup and many more that are very helpful. I don't see any render settings I can tweak as much as other software. I think you need to render in high resolution in order to obtain a better render unlike other softwares where you can retain a specific resolution and still produce great render quality. One limitation of the free version is the limited model and material library. Initially I am on Vray & Lumion, they both are great rendering tools but D5 render provides higher quality of rendering and the shortest rendering time. Furthermore, it is user friendly, can easily pick up the skills. While D5 Render is amazing, I believe it could improve in a few areas:

Better support for Blender materials and asset conversion would streamline the workflow even more.

It would be great to see more asset libraries focused on Asian countries, especially traditional Indian architecture.

Assets inspired by Kerala’s architectural style would be a huge help for those of us working on region-specific designs.

D5 is one of the best programs I have ever used. It is now much easier to provide short previews to my customers thanks to its ease of use and speed. It has quickly adapted to my workflow thanks to its integration. It is easy to use and user-friendly thanks to its real-time elements. During the design phase, I used it constantly.
