D5 render is the quickest rendering software I have been used. Initially I am on Vray & Lumion, they both are great rendering tools but D5 render provides higher quality of rendering and the shortest rendering time. Furthermore, it is user friendly, can easily pick up the skills. Another upsides, it is free to use, and you will definitely purchase the pro version after you discover it's strength from free version. Lastly, D5 render technician are constantly improving the software, they are able to create object animation and mountain in a click Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The disadvantages, i would say it needs a relatively high PC specifications and wish to have more control on the HDRI adjustments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

D5 is one of the best programs I have ever used. It is now much easier to provide short previews to my customers thanks to its ease of use and speed. It has quickly adapted to my workflow thanks to its integration. It is easy to use and user-friendly thanks to its real-time elements. During the design phase, I used it constantly. I actively use it with Sketchup. I think its monthly fee is reasonable compared to other programs. Also, the fact that you can make a monthly membership and cancel it whenever you want will be an advantage for many people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Asset library and fast render times are helpful. I think the asset library needs more every day or daily use materials like tiles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
D5 Render is a total game-changer for my architectural work! The real-time rendering is insanely fast, letting me see changes instantly. It's super user-friendly, so I picked it up quickly. The huge library of assets is a lifesaver when I need to populate scenes fast. Plus, it plays nice with my other 3D software, which is a huge plus. The render quality is top-notch too – I've impressed quite a few clients with the results! Also the software is really easy to install, and have a catalog of the different versions, while also providing customer support via e-mail in a timely manner to help with problems or bugs found, I have used it already and loved it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While D5 is great overall, it's not perfect. Sometimes the materials can look a bit off, especially when I need super detailed textures. The asset library, while big, leans a bit too much towards Asian-style furniture for my taste. Finding specific items can be a pain sometimes. I've also had a few crashes with newer versions, which can be frustrating when I'm on a deadline. It'd be awesome if they added a snapping feature for precise object placement. But honestly, these are minor gripes compared to how much time and effort D5 saves me overall. I use it everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I’ve been using D5 Render for several projects, and I am thoroughly impressed! The software delivers incredibly realistic results with stunning lighting and high-quality textures. The real-time rendering feature is a game-changer, making it so easy to visualize my changes instantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While D5 Render produces incredible results in terms of realistic lighting and textures, I’ve encountered a few areas that could use improvement. The software can sometimes feel a bit heavy on system resources, especially when working with large or complex scenes. This can lead to slower performance and occasional lag, which is frustrating when trying to work efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

within the options that d5 render presents as opposed to other real-time programs, we have that it presents an outstanding image due to its high-performance rendering engine, the ease of use it presents unlike other programs that have a very complicated platform, d5 has a simplicity in the interface that can be used immediately, in addition to the extensive library of materials and components that it has is very complete and allows for better results, the integration of artificial intelligence allows us to obtain better results than we already obtained.
we also have the compatibility of sync in the programs used and the importation of files is very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like is that it needs a current graphics card, although those graphics cards are already necessary for anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use and attainability of real-life lighting and effects. I have tried learning other software to achieve photorealistic outputs however the time to grasp the skill is not enough for the learning curve. D5 on the other hand was just fairly smooth and just a few renders, I can already say I have understood how it works and how to adjust renders that is pure quality. The only thing I don't like is that I'm not yet a Pro user and I just look at the Pro materials library with undeniable desire haha however, D5 has tons of features that in fact you can use to customize materials to achieve the ones like in Pro. That's the best part. D5 is so underrated that I don't know anyone else as far as work is concerned knows about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I had stop making photorealism as an architect the last years, because it was really time-consuming. I discovered D5 lately and it really made me come back to business. It is fast and easy. I can have a great real-time preview of the final result, changing material and illumination attributes, without having to make numerous test renders. I can produce really great result in a decent work-time. I can even show it to a customer for a walk-through navigation, before producing renders/videos. Scatter tool is a great asset! The photorealism of D5 Render is really great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although in the main features D5 team is making a great progress and is improving all the time, there is some luck of interest/attention in some simple things that could help a lot in terms of workflow. For example, renaming materials easilly, dealing with instances/unique copies, there is no material history(when you test a new material in an object, the previous material is gone you cannot recall it). moving an object accurately is not bad but it's not super fast and easy. And many small things and details in terms of user-friendly interface. Little things that cannot blur the greatness of D5, but when they'll be adopted in the interface they can make workflow really amazing. Little details that can make a tool like D5 an integral part for a professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using D5 Render since its early launch, and I have to say, the progress it has made in such a short time is truly impressive. The addition of new features, especially the AI capabilities, has made my workflow so much smoother. With just a few clicks, I can generate an atmospheric setting based on a reference mood image, which saves me a lot of time and effort.
One of the standout aspects of D5 Render is its affordability. The membership price is very reasonable compared to other software options out there, making it accessible for both professionals and hobbyists alike.
I also love the live sync feature with Rhino. It allows me to quickly iterate on my models and see real-time changes, which is incredibly beneficial for my design process. Overall, D5 Render has become an essential tool in my workflow, and I can't wait to see how it continues to evolve! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems that users would like to see an expansion of templates and features in D5 for product level renders, particularly for specific categories like jewelry and footwear. This enhancement could improve the software's versatility and appeal, allowing for more tailored and detailed presentations of various products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
D5 Render is fast, easy to use, and delivers stunning real-time visuals. Its intuitive interface, realistic lighting, and robust asset library make it perfect for architecture and design projects. Plus, it’s affordable and runs smoothly even on mid-range GPUs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though D5 Render is excellent, it could improve by offering more advanced material customization, a larger asset library, and better animation controls. Its reliance on strong GPU performance can be limiting for lower-end systems, and the lack of Mac support is a drawback for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I write this review for share my experience like an architect in Colombia. I spent years using software that affected my workflow, because use a lot of time for learn, working and times of render very long. But when I discovered this beautiful software, my life change and give me more chances to make a very good visualization work in render and video and is free, not all, despite that his free version don´t have all the items unlock, give the enough for work in many projects.
