I love that it shows different types of scheduled Marketing projects such as Email, Push Notifications, in App, and Carousel projects. I find it very helpful that it is color-coordinated and can be updated with times, in-progress, completed, submitted projects, etc. and there is a small description available to show key audience. It is used by multi-departments to view upcoming marketing projects. It helps other departments see projections on projects and more transparency within the company. I would love to see multi-date projects or marketing campaigns to be more visible for the date range. It is usually easier to see the time-lapse of the project by clicking it. The CoSchedule Marketing Calendar has a clean interface with the ability to integrate other third parties tools such as Trello, Excel, and the like. The product is from CoSchedule, a company with a reputation for developing marketing software for businesses focused on content marketing. The calendar is absolutely free. The calendar dashboard makes it easy to see visually where your social posts are and how full your days are. This platform is good if you don't have a lot of social channels to monitor or send out a lot of posts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I found it difficult to keep track of what platforms had posts scheduled on a specific date when there are a lot of posts scheduled. We colour-coded our posts for each platform but I wish there was an easy way to filter them. Also colour coding by platform meant we couldn't colour code by campaign. Once we fine-tuned our usage to a specific aspect of marketing communications -- in our case for outbound email marketing -- this tool proved to be very useful and provided some built-in integrations with our email platform that helps save time for the marketing team.
