I like that the end-user experience. It is decently simple. It is also a very simple experience uploading SCORM compliant eLearning. The tracking is fairly simple, and it wouldn't take a LOT of skill to begin using Cornerstone. The transcript with the most recent upgrades is a lot more intuitive. It's nice that it is interconnected. I appreciate that there is a lot that the product can do, even if my particular company does not have the budget to purchase the items that enhance and integrate them into the company culture. If you include add-ins/integrations, there is not much that Cornerstone can't work personnel-wise. I will also note that they are currently making many upgrades and that some of my primary issues are slowly but surely being taken care of, but very slowly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As an admin, there are a lot of little items that come to mind with this question.
1. There isn't a way to run a conference with multiple concurrent sessions that the user can only choose one of for a time slot. It's strange that
2. There are a few different admin functions that are a bit cumbersome and could easily be enhanced.
3. I would like more interaction from user to user within Learning. Interaction can be added with a different module.
4. I was told by a rep that the certifications are a mess and that I shouldn't use them. We use curriculum instead, which are equally frustrating to reversion.
5. The breadcrumbs don't work perfectly.
6. It indicates you can have two windows open, but it does rather strange things if you do. Ex: I had someone working in two different courses at once, and when the saved it wrote the name over one of them so both courses were called the same name. This took so long to figure out who had attended what, mainly because it went at least one session before they noticed that now two courses were named the same thing.
7. No built-in Accommodation Request Features. It's inaccessible, and that's a problem.
7b. Custom Forms can't fully fix accessibility issues because the custom form emails lack a HUGE amount of necessary information, like the requestor name, class, date and time, etc. The workarounds within Cornerstone are VERY time-consuming.
8. Email Triggers only work in specific emails, so you can't create logical flows that make sense in Cornerstone.
9. HTML doesn't function well in the system without an additional fix that is mostly paperwork. HTML code appears in descriptions regularly.
10. For live learning platforms like Teams, Zoom, Adobe connect, etc, there is an add-on to add functionality into the system. Each one costs money. There is no way for you to just go into Cornerstone and just indicate the link for users no matter the platform. It should be a field.
11. As a site admin for many different sites throughout my career, I don't love that as a company admin, I don't have full rights to the site. I can see or work with the code, I can't even run a report for all people in my agency who have additional security rights. That's such a simple function that you have to go through cornerstone tech for.
12. Could be more actively engaged in Accessibility Measures such as settings that allow the user to adjust colors or settings for the end user etc. Video Captioning would also be very helpful for the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the user experience. It is clear and easy to navigate.
The gamification component is a real game-changer for our organization! I love how robust the system is.
There is a test feature built-in. You can also create course evaluations Level 1 - 4. Assigned learning appears front and center for learners to see. This is a helpful feature to direct learners to where they need to focus their attention.
There are also tons of email notifications that can be turned on and customized to suit your needs.
Overall, we have been quite pleased with the product. We are about to implement Performance which we are very excited about! I am really looking forward to aligning our learning and performance systems which were not able to do with our previous vendor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The implementation experience can make or break you. Make sure you sign on with a great implementation team.
If you are a small company. It might be to your benefit to create a role specifically dedicated to this system. As it is very robust you will need someone to take time to learn and be comfortable with the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love all the options! You can really customize things to your liking. Once you are familiar with the navigation, it's a very user-friendly system. One feature we really love that competitors didn't have was the On the Job Training functionality. We need to be able to track these quick on-job training tasks, and this is perfect. There are SO many options and check-boxes, that it is easy to miss something. For example, the email options require you to write an email for each and every learning object and for each and every reminder. You cannot simply copy and paste and change the reminder dates. It's tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cornerstone Learning is always innovating - I know that I can provide the most modern and on-point user experience that learners expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not only is the product amazing, but the support we receive from our Cornerstone Client Success Managers and the team is outstanding! The LMS has taken our employee professional development to the next level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of a thing we dislike about the LMS in our organization. The product is constantly being upgraded and developed to better reach our needs. It just keeps getting better. I do wish we were able to utilize more of the product solutions in combination with the LMS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cornerstone's LMS comes with all the of the features you would expect, with an easy to use interface for learners. Multiple administrators can work on the same courses, delivering maximum value to our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some parts of the system are showing their age, but are due to be replaced in the next 12 months. They still work, but could look better, and need some additional features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CSOD has a lot of flexibility for setting security to allow us to use the features we want to, while not using the features we're not ready for or cannot use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My dislike is the same as my like; the flexibility and granularity is great, but can be cumbersome when setting things up in that there are a lot of ways to go wrong. More in-depth training on the Client Success center would be great. Online help is a powerful resource, but can be challenging to navigate simply because there is so mush there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Over the past 10 years, I have seen cornerstone develop as an LMS with a significant increase in both form and functionality. The improvements have seen the product open up capability that suits a much wider suite of the global market peculiarities as well as their home base for which it was originally developed.
The tool provides a robust structure to load and deliver training to the right groups of users at the right time with relative ease and efficiency. Identification of users and management of transcripts provides a solid base for reporting and skills management making this tool highly effective. The ability to do observed training as well as testing the capabilities of the users means that the tool does provide a full suite of training types for the users and managers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The things missing are silly things like emails confirming the outcome of a test. This is a small hiccup in the tool which on its own poses a limited issue, however, depending on the business use of the tool there can be many little things that make this seem like an uphill battle.
The main issue I do have is that while the tool is flexible (and it truly is) what fails to be explained to clients is the impact of this flexibility. Every change poses a sacrifice in behaviour further along and the impacts of how data is loaded at the start is not clearly identified to the clients until it is too late. I would like to clarify that my distaste here is NOT for the tool but the way in which the implementation teams understand the tools and the business when it is being put together.
