The system allows you to automate as much as you can, which is so helpful to manage the system and take things out of your daily tasks. Allowing for moving pieces in different parts of the system increases your options to get the right people the right training, at the right time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the reporting options were scalable. We would like to be able to send things out to more than 10 users - and the current Reporting 2.0 limit doesn't allow that. We would use this feature so much more if we could set it up to send to positions, groups, etc. rather than just named users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The back administration is very complete and with New features in each new release. Also it has a big users community to help and suggest me New learning ideas. Also the mobile integration is a very good insight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not to much adaptable or flexible in changes. you cant revert some steps when you make the configurations. Also some workflows were strong to change and we must adapt our procedures to be as cornerstone suggest. Not to much important. The online authoring tool is quite poor. Reporting capabilities are expansive, but at times, data needs to be exported to create advanced dashboards. Automated Email Notifications are good assets of the system as well. I like how they are always striving to be the best in the business and have an agile approach to updating the system. The skills functionality is helpful in impacting career conversations. The talent marketplace is the culmination of the foundational work in the skills space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Interest List Management and evaluation functionality are not easy to use. Edge import templates need to be updated to better describe required field formats. The templates do not indicate the fields need to be id numbers instead of the name of the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) Scalability - great for large organizations such as ours. 2) Good for administering compliance training, which is what we mainly use it for, although we are trying to encourage more usage for career/professional development purposes. 3) Wide range of out-of-the-box content - we purchased some Content Anytime subscriptions and found this helpful content for curation and professional development opportunities. 4) Accessibility - they're rolling out as many accessible features as quickly as possible, but I wish the releases happen more quickly. 5) Customer support - Cornerstone's customer support and knowledge/support bank of helpful articles are among their greatest services. I appreciate the abundance of information and knowledge I can find on Knowledge Central and Online Help pages, which help me quickly look up answers to my questions. 1) User interface - while parts of Cornerstone are updated, there are some pages like the Certificates, My Team views, and Custom Pages that feel and look outdated. There are certain features that don't feel cohesive within the whole system as the UI looks different from page to page. 2) Reporting - while Cornerstone provides reports that have the basic information and are great starting points, I'd like to see more robust customization features that feel less clunky. Currently, the reporting feature feels overwhelming and not as intuitive; I'd like to see improvements where I can use the filters and see changes to the reports in real time as I'm making changes. I also don't like that I have to "schedule" or "refresh" the reports, as this goes back to my comment about wanting to see the changes in real time to ensure that's the data I want to see before downloading it. 3) Admin features - while I appreciate the wide array of admin features the system offers, it can be challenging to understand what the effects are if one feature is turned on/configured and one is not. This is where the Knowledge Central and online help pages are helpful, but even then, it's still not always clear. I'm wondering if AI can be incorporated to make it easier on the admin as they're configuring settings; for example, AI could have pop-up reminders or notes that suggest, "Have you considered turning on X, since you have Y setting enabled?" or something alike, to help admins better understand the interconnectedness of the features they enable. The amount of options it provides for the Administrator. Sometimes it can seem a little overwhelming, but once you are working in it for a bit, it really does offer ways to accomplish any and all scenarios that come your way! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the screens that I think should or could be combined are seperate. For example in the course catalog there are some options for learning objects and then under each learning type that are another set of options. It can be confusing to remember where to locate what edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cornerstone provides more than just management of transcripts and push learning. They give employees the opportunity to find relevant learning in ways that make it easy. They give my training teams easy paths to get the right training in front of the right people. The give me access to all the data I need and want to provide meaningful result analysis training, and an easy path for me to training administrators on the tool. I would love to see more built-in consolidation of the performance and learning platforms in the user experience interface. Something like the current Learner home but that incorporates performance data/tasks.
I also believe support needs to be improved; responsiveness has suffered since the acquisition and mergers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you can think of a special use case, it can handle it. You just need a little creativity, a little know how (they also have an extensive library of courses for Admins to learn from) and patience. And if you lack any of that, Cornerstone has a community of users at the ready to help answer any questions or solve any problems you may have. Office Hours are offered daily for any last minute help you may need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it feels like it can do so much, but not exactly what you need it to do. Dealing with annual training requirements is still tricky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is so much you can do, from reports, to ILT to creating curricula. The biggest thing we noticed from our old LMS to our new one is the ease of use for the end user. It is so user friendly without much training at all our end users can figure out how to do what they need without much help from the admins. Implementation went great, Dave was with us all along the way and was easy to reach out to when we had questions, and boy did we have questions. We also have customer support available at our fingertips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing that I find hard to configure is all of the permissions. Together our team can figure out who needs what, but at times it can be overhwheming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting functionality is excellent, especially since upgrading to Enhanced Reports (Reporting 2.0). The amount of data we can extract for our business lines is phenomenal. I also appreciate our flexibility in using Organizational Units to create groups for assigned training. We are in a highly regulated business with a lot of role-specific training. We can quickly zero in on specific roles, existing employees vs. new hires, and many other combinations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of our training is reversioned often, and many courses are housed within multiple curricula. The process of reversioning a course and updating the impacted curricula is sometimes tedious, especially when working with multiple classes that affect the same curricula. We've had to be creative in turning off emails at certain times, so that impacted learners do not receive "assigned training" notices with each reversion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I enjoy the ability to upload our own in-house content with ease. Additionally, we leverage Custom Pages to load (as we call them) non-LO's to the system. These are our policies, forms, and resources that are not meant to enhance learners skill-sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Versioning options are confusing at times and have caused us issues in the past. Over time, we've learned the system's tendencies and now know what our internal processes need to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a highly regulated customer, system validation and maintaining that validation are critical elements. Cornerstone continues to be an industry leader in having a fully validated system for highly regulated customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Technical support has been a glaring issue with Cornerstone. Any issues short of a complete system outage are handled quite sloppily. Communication on the tickets is poor and response times to receive meaningful responses and not just SLA check ins are frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
