It really provides a platform where team members can share files data and information with one another and it real help in integrating the team together securely Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was very affective tool without much issuesbut yes the initial execution did take time something that can be avoided Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Straightforward and simple interface for creating, sharing and collborating on shared documents and knowledge tools. Great for having a single source of "truth" for remote teams to reference and work from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Document formatting isn't the most straighforward and the tools seems to be more geared/developed from engineering POV than other types of document creators. But not a terrible issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

More wordy, fewer pictures.

I mean it's good but just having pictorial representation makes me find things fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The formatting tool and the macro together work like a charm. In addition the support of JIRA makes it awesome. Some things that I really like

1. Great formatting tools

2. Version history

3. Create URL for headings

4. Add Macro's (there are some brilliant Macro's provided), the best one is heirarchy

5. Use JQL (Jira Query Language) on the page itself.

6. Use plugins like Asana, FIGMA etc.

7. Create template that can be used by the team

8. N level sub-pages

Despite being the perfect tool there are some flaws of the product

1. It is laggy, sometimes super laggy.

2. Sometimes I cannot save/publish pages for reason that Confluence says "no internet"

3. Sometimes (1 in 100), the pages I try to say do not get saved.

4. The export to PDF does not have great formatting

5. It is missing an important feature of "suggesting" that we have in Google Docs.

It's easy enough to create, organize, and maintain different UX artifacts for different project spaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Confluence is nice because it's a place where product documentation can be stored online in a safe, private location for a team to access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working with tables in confluence is awful. We often save large tables of organized information in confluence documents but you cannot freeze rows, specify column sizes, or copy/paste in any meaningful way. It's painful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows user to maintain and keep upto date knowlege base related to project. It provides subscribe feature related to a page or directory, if any change occur the subscriber of that page or directory get notified using email or notification section provided within the confluence. Its allows us to control the user permission and support a number of plug-ins. It gives us lot of template while creating pages that is very usefull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating pages require good knowledge of HTML; it can be more straightforward. The size of the knowledge base (working space) gets larger, it being slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that it is customizable in every way. You can create sections segmented by department, roles, and so much more. Plus you can use the tool as an internal/external wiki page for your company/department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish that the steps to making edits and pages were a bit more simplistic. I also would love to be able to make certain entries private by department or role a bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
