Their interfaces and reporting looked good on the surface, but when you got into detail, they were lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I should have known there were problems at Cloudbeds as their contract had language saying that its users could not publish reviews. After some negotiations, I had them remove the language. Their contract does not comply with California privacy laws. They told us that their system integrated easily with QuickBooks; they did not say you have to use a third-party API translator and pay $49 per month for it and that that translator probably does not comply with privacy laws. They also said integration with QuickBooks is easy; they did not say it only works with QuickBooks online and not QuickBooks desktop. They also did not explain that you need a programmer to make it work, as the mapping is difficult and complicated. They said they would handle the data export from our old PMS to Cloudbeds; they did not tell us that if you have a server-based system and not a cloud-based system, you have to do the data export. They told us that the transition to Expedia from our existing system to their system happens almost immediately. On the transition day, they say three days…3 days with no bookings. That is thousands in lost revenue. The transition process from our old system to CloudBeds was done with their limited help, and communicating with their customer support was awful and almost exclusively via e-mail. They have you watch videos and do some light follow-up, but it is hardly a cohesive transition program. Their reporting looks good on the surface, but it is weak when you get into the detail. Their report builder lacks needed functions and operators, and they do not expose enough data fields to make it worthwhile.
There is more, but suffice it to say the entire experience was awful, and we canceled. I have used two other Property management systems, and they were both superior in support, training and service, and their sales team shot straight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We contacted sales, got the information and signed in,
when the onboarding was going on we realized that Group reservations were not included
we had to call the sales manager to get it at the same price,
The onboarding process was good in Spanish.
when the onboarding was finished we realized that The Cloud University for learning to use the system is not in Spanish and wanted to charge us to teach the personal
sales is very good in not telling you that everything is in English and our personal is Spanish speaking. we are in Mexico.
The first 2 reservations received by Booking arrived without the complete credit card information, we contacted technical support, and after 50 minutes of waiting on the phone, they said sorry it was a glitch can't get the information anymore
nothing we can. now I have 2 reservations without the CVC Code: and cant charge this non-refundable rate.
We decided to cancel the service :
False advertisements, they do not explain that training for receptionists and reservations personnel is only in English (cloud university ),
- not getting all the credit card information
- very bad technical service, waiting 50 minutes or more every time you want to speak with somebody.

Easy to use, you can automatize guest communication and drive more reservations by connecting directly to the Cloudbeds Channel Manager and Booking Engine. It´s an All in One Solution that helps you save time and generate more reservations. We use Cloudbeds for our 3 Properties - the Multy-Property feature is a blessing - it makes it very easy for us to switch from one hotel to the other and gives us full control over the daily operations - only one click away. I would love to have an App - right now it´s only mobile responsive, so some of the features like the calendar are not easy to use on my phone.

This software gives us full control over business and a great overview of our daily operations. Also it works perfectly together and we are happy that we don't have to switch different solutions for our daily workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only drawback if one at all is that, the program is LIVE. Meaning a power surge or anything and you cant use it. Sometimes updates happen at inconvenient times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
