We are a Salesforce Consulting Partner and use Salesforce to track all of our Sales Activity. As we've grown, we've found that it has become more difficult to tackle resource management and utilization in an effective and PROACTIVE way. We set out to look at a variety of tools to help and Cloud Coach was a clear cut solution. For us, we live and breathe Salesforce so being able to connect our PSA and Invoicing directly to our Sales Process witihin Salesforce is a huge benefit for us. It's also a very intuitive and easy to use/learn application and gives us the visibility into our projects but also into our resource utilization which is very important. All in all, we are huge fans of the work that the Cloud Coach team is doing and have a great partnership. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At this time there haven't been any noticiable shortcomings that I've seen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud Coach has been a partner from the beginning, making sure that we were supported through a lengthy implementation and years of continued development and expansion use cases. We made use of many aspects of the Cloud Coach standard feature set, which has been significantly improved and expanded upon over the years, and we've been able to customize various aspects to fit our business use cases. The tool has a lot of capability but with that comes complexity for end users, especially when you layer in custom workflows and changes to their product. One of the challenges over our time with Cloud Coach has been to roll back some of our customizations and drive organizational change so that the project management style better fits industry standards and the Cloud Coach tool. Cloud Coach as a company has also undergone a lot of organizational shifts over the last few years and during that time our level/quality of support has fluctuated. We implemented Cloud Coach as a project management tool to manage Implementations and Product Development. It's a great tool with a really intuitive UI that gives you incredible functionality at your fingertips. And because it's on the platform, as a Salesforce Admin, I can adjust it as required to fit our process.
The Knowledge base and Academy courses are fantastic; they give users a well-rounded education on how to use the product as they're starting. And the inbuilt help function and link to videos make it easy to learn about the features whilst in the product.
I have also been super impressed with the care our Customer Success Manager has given us to ensure any questions we've had have been answered, and the support team are responsive and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few little feature gaps that I've found to be frustrating. The Checklist Project Methodology is relatively new but lacks a bit of functionality. I think they are developing quite rapidly on the product, though, so I'm sure the features for Checklists will increase over time. I would like to be able to use the tabs for Cloud Coach in a Console-style Salesforce app, but it doesn't work very well, so I find I'm not as efficient when I have to use multiple Chrome tabs instead. Seamless Integration with Salesforce: Cloud Coach is a Salesforce-native project management solution, which means it is built directly on the Salesforce platform. This integration allows project managers to leverage their existing Salesforce records and launch projects directly from them. It provides a true 360-degree view of accounts and enables project creation based on business rules. Additionally, it can connect with any Salesforce-based objects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited Customization: While Cloud Coach offers various project management features, some users feel that it lacks certain customization options compared to other project management tools.
Integration Challenges: Although Cloud Coach is designed to integrate seamlessly with Salesforce, some users have experienced challenges or inconsistencies with integration, particularly with custom Salesforce setups or configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Cloud Coach for the past few months, and it has significantly transformed the way I manage my projects and team collaborations. As someone who juggles multiple projects simultaneously, I needed a tool that could help me stay organized, keep track of progress, and facilitate effective communication. Cloud Coach has exceeded my expectations in all these areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integration Issues Currently, Cloud Coach does not offer direct integration with Acumatica, which limits the seamless transfer of information between the two platforms.
Mobile App Limitations, the mobile app, while functional, lacks some of the features available on the desktop version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Cloud Coach has proven to be an invaluable asset to our project management operations, seamlessly integrating into our workflow and significantly enhancing collaboration and efficiency among project managers and portfolio directors. Wellstar has been using Cloud Coach for more than three years now and we it just keeps getting better. More streamlined.
One of the standout features of Cloud Coach is its intuitive interface, which has greatly simplified project management tasks for our team. From setting up projects to tracking progress and managing resources, the tool offers a user-friendly experience that minimizes the learning curve. Project managers appreciate the clear layout that allows them to quickly grasp project statuses, timelines, and dependencies without navigating through complex menus.
Megan, our CSM, provides strategic guidance that aligns with our organizational goals. She has helped us customize the tool to fit our unique requirements and advised us on industry best practices for project management. We have a very custom intake process which is well outside of the OOB application. Trying to get updates to this part of our process is a little tricky, but this is no fault of Cloud Coach, just our intense discovery process.
I would love to see more heat maps! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am pleasantly surprised how easy Cloud Coach was to pick up. I typically don't like change, (who does?), but am confident that I am going to be an expert user soon! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- I wish we could delete unwanted Tasks with a Mass Update instead of one-by-one.
- I know I had the abilty to edit communication entries on my Tasks, but that seems not to be the case any more -
would like that back.
- Would like to be able to attach emails to the task instead of copy/pasting them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having the integration with Salesforce is key. This allows our organization that heavily uses Salesforce manage projects without having to leave the application and use multiple other sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While it seems to have been around for a long time, there are some IT aspects that are not quite up with the times and cause our organization to come up with our own workarounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I appreciate most about Cloud Coach is its seamless integration with the Salesforce platform. It brings benefits such as utilizing master data, streamlined administration, and access to standard platform tools. The customizable workflows and interfaces are allowing us to tailor the solution to our processes. Also, the system's user-friendliness stands out, enabling end users to track tasks and report time in a simple way, enhancing overall productivity and user experience. Cloud Coach's tools on the Salesforce platform has a great adaptability, allowing us to customize it to our operational needs. The platform could, however, be enhanced by more predefined best practices and processes to facilitate a simpler setup experience, especially related to financial reporting and processes. While this requires a greater time investment configuring the system, it should be noted that it does not detract from the end-user experience, which remains straightforward and efficient. Cloud Coach allows us to centralize time tracking, workflow, and billing for projects. It is great for keeping track of projects with multiple parts or phases. It is very customizable, and post go-live support resources are very responsive and easy to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Clould Coach does a good job at handling most aspects of projects, but project documentation has been a bit of a challenge. Some types of projects are worked day-to-day, more like a support case than a project. but they are still billable projects that need to be managed in Cloud Coach. Being able to easily access and review past documentation has been challenging. I'm not sure if this is a limitation in Cloud Coach or just our company's implementation or usage of it though.
