What do you like best about ClickHelp?

I can use ClickHelp everywhere, just need a browser and Internet connection.

The Restricted Access functionality is very nice, I give my clients access to the documentation for their review. They review online, and tell me what needs to be tweaked.

I can export to a number of output formats, depending on what output every client needs.

Their tech support is very helpful, and can always assist me with any question even during weekend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

Can't even imagine right now - great product, very responsive tech support, I love it! Would probably like additional ready documentation templates to use, would be nice to have a larger library. Anyway, I have built my own templates already, so not a big deal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

ClickHelp is an excellent solution when you need to turn a lot of existing documentation into a modern web portal with easy navigation and quick search. If you do not have any special requests for the article's layout, the import process will allow you to publish documentation on the web quickly. If you want to make a beautiful layout with the insertion of graphics, videos and interactive elements, ClickHelp is also quite flexible.

Technical support is fast enough.

Ready-made portal templates are optimized for mobile platforms, are quite cute and easily adapt to corporate identity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

Two things are missing:

1. Distribution of access rights to the documentation at the level of articles, not projects.

2. Real-time teamwork on articles in the Google Documents style with the call to colleagues in the comments via @ (like “@vpribega What the heck did you write here?!”). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

I like that ClickHelp provides users with the features with more possibilities than other solutions. For example, using tables is so easy and pleasant. You can customize them as you wish with premade settings or using CSS. If you don’t know CSS but want to style your table, ClickHelp has a great user manual with basic styling tasks which you can easily implement.

Moreover, I like how column sizing works. If you have a large image inside of a cell, it’ll become smaller when you resize a column. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I think everything is ok about ClickHelp - its features, integrations make technical writing easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that ClickHelp provides users with simple and clear versioning possibilities. We can create printed and online documentation using one portal - single-sourcing and content reuse features like snippets, variables, output tags and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

Speaking of collaboration with coworkers, ClickHelp created a great authoring environment. We don’t need to work from the same office because ClickHelp is a browser-based solution - every team member can work from anywhere and nothing will be missed. Tech writers, reviewers, and SMEs have access to a portal where they can work on content together - leave comments, monitor the version history, compare different topic versions, and the like.

Our collaboration with users has been improved as well since ClickHelp provides readers feedback widgets like GraphComment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I think it would be great to have a feedback widget for internal documentation as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

ClickHelp is the best tool to create user friendly documentation since we can add navigation elements like cross-links, TOCs, breadcrumbs and so on. Plus, Context Help is available and users don’t need to open another topic to learn additional information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

It would be great to have a todo list on my author dashboard to see what I should write today and what changes should be made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

ClickHelp is a good solution that helps with many of our projects like writing user manuals, bug tracking, communicating with other doc team members and so on. The possibilities to get a bird’s eye view of analytics and statistics for projects are really helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I’d want to see new ready-to-use templates because I think the existing ones look outdated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ClickHelp?

If you've used any help authoring tool in the past, ClickHelp is very easy to learn. And if you haven't used a HAT before, I think ClickHelp would be one of the easiest places to start. The interface is intuitive, they have a robust help system, and their support is outstanding. ClickHelp has all the features I needed to create a documentation system from scratch, including built-in styles, single sourcing options, quick access to the html behind the text editor, and multiple publication options. And if something doesn't make sense right away, they have great help documentation to explain a feature or a process. They will even do branding for your documentation portal.

ClickHelp Support is the best product support I've had. I've been using ClickHelp for about 6 months and they always get back to me later the same day or the next morning with the most thorough explanations, including screenshots. Most of my support questions have been about customizing the CSS in a way I can't figure out, and they always show me what I need to do, improving my knowledge along the way. I really can't say enough about their support, and it's obvious that a good support team is very important to their company.

They also have a place to put in product suggestions, and they actually follow up with you about your use case for the suggestion and how it will benefit you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickHelp?

I think the reviewing functionality could be better. Right now, reviewers need to log in and they can only leave comments. For areas where it would be eaiser to use something more like track changes, some reviewers find the process a little frustrating. Also, when I'm editing based on comments, the comments don't stay open on the screen, so I have to keep re-opening the comment as I'm editing.

I think it could be easier to add videos that are on your computer and not saved to YouTube or Vimeo. It's a bit of a process to get videos added from the File Manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
