"Building our Strategic Workspace with ClearPoint Strategy"
What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

We are in the process of introducing the Kaplan–Norton Balanced Scorecard framework and what I really like about ClearPoint is how naturally it supports this. It provides a single, integrated platform that connects strategy maps, objectives, measures, initiatives, and reporting creating a clear line of sight from intent to action. The initiative module is particularly strong and gives us confidence we can effectively manage our strategic initiatives in one true single source of truth. This will help already reduced manual reporting and helped our leadership focus on insights and decisions, not chasing data. The built‑in Briefing Book, reporting capabilities, and emerging AI features will be especially valuable. We see ClearPoint Strategy as our strategic workspace. What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?

We are currently in the “messy middle” of finalising our prototype, where strategy planning and system configuration are happening in parallel. As a result, there has been a steep learning curve for our leadership teams and some iteration as we clarify objectives, measures, and ownership which is to be expected when introducing the Balanced Scorecard for the first time. That said, Marisa and Katie have been extremely supportive throughout the process and have helped us navigate this transition with confidence. ClearPoint does require discipline and a thoughtful rollout to realise its full value and we are taking the time to onboard our leaders effectively through this change journey. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

It is a very robust and flexible system. After a year of creating the framework for content, and creating reporting from the system for our users, I am continually amazed at the ability to adapt the features of the system for our use. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

I appreciate ClearPoint Strategy for helping us manage KPIs for our strategic plan and for starting the process of enabling various department liaisons to submit KPIs. I am particularly excited about working with our new Customer Success Manager, Katie Oliverio, who has incredible customer service skills and has provided us with excellent support. We had some issues with communication with previous contacts, but that has improved since working with Katie. It’s easy to use, and they’re always adding new features. The resources are really helpful for development and onboarding, and the customer service is excellent. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

I find ClearPoint Strategy really useful for Strategic Plan Tracking. The AI tool in both 'Classic' and 'Next' versions has been exceptionally helpful, significantly boosting my efficiency. The on-demand tech support is a standout feature, allowing for instant troubleshooting. As a new user, I'm grateful for such an advanced tool, particularly for managing updates, setting goals, and tracking measures. The initial setup was very easy, thanks to the extensive support. What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?

I have experienced some glitches. For example, the first reporting period for the Quarter duplicated all the monthly objectives. This caused users to double their uploads. The ClearPoint team was prompt and helpful in correcting this problem. I have registered for office hours for one-on-one tech support, but no one ever joined the call. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

I find ClearPoint Strategy very user-friendly and easy for end users to learn and navigate. The platform is great because it lets us run reports at any time and customize them according to our needs. It's easy to update data, organizational structures, strategic goals, and performance measures. I think the reports are well-designed, clean, and visually appealing, making it easier to communicate information effectively. It's also efficient for generating reports, analyzing, and comparing performance data more effectively, which supports decision-making. I don't need to spend much effort training new users, and the ability to update data and adjust report formats quickly helps maintain accurate, up-to-date reporting. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

I really like ClearPoint Strategy because it integrates goal tracking, performance measurement, and reporting into a single centralized system, which is really helpful for managing various plans like the Community Health Improvement Plan, Strategic Plan, Workforce Development Plan, and more. I find it great for keeping all plans in one platform, which aids in tracking and automatically reaching out for data. What I enjoy most is the easiness and accessibility of the platform. It's straightforward to navigate and enter data, and the initial setup was very easy. I also love the relationship we have with Katie Oliverio; she always provides excellent customer service. What do you like best about ClearPoint Strategy?

-Streamlines data collection and removes the need for our staff to individually meet with project managers for project updates.

-Ability to create new fields/data points that we wanted in our dashboard.

-Ability to automate reminder emails to send to staff.

- Reporting function is easy to use.

What do you dislike about ClearPoint Strategy?

We have only completed one workflow using Clearpoint, but my main feedback so far would be:

- We have projects that overlap with another department in our organization. There was miscommunication in that initial workflow, mainly that project managers not intended to be in our workflow were included due to project overlap with the other department. I now know how to avoid this, but wish the roll-out went a bit smoother and staff wasn't unnecessarily prompted to provide updates.

- Wish there was the ability to "hide" or remove fields in a project page that do not pertain to the data points we are asking from project managers. It can be difficult to train staff how to use a new program when it's visually overwhelming/lots of fields we're not using.

- There should be an easier way to alphabetize/sort projects by title

- Status Indicator is difficult for staff to find/not intuitive to edit. Maybe it should be a field like "End Date" or "External Status Update" so it's easier to find without having to press the edit pencil for the dropdown menu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
