The application allows us to capture, monitor, and report the department's performance metrics and strategic initiatives. We are still learning all of the features, but I see potential for us to use these features more efficiently to improve our work processes. The application is customizable to include logos, color palettes and layout of the various elements. The tutorials are great and seem to work for some training purposes. Andrew Middleton has been great to work with. He is patient, kind and supportive. He responds quickly and is willing to meet me where I am at with the application to teach me more about its utilization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve for our staff when using the application has been difficult. As different people learn and comprehend in different ways, the tutorials may only provide assistance for some, but not all. There are so many components of the application to learn, it is difficult for a lead person to work with many other responsibilities to perform the work and share with others. This may be an internal issue with our organization. It seems that I need to focus on managing this work 100% of my time rather than the 10-15% of my time that I have to devote to PMs/Scorecards. My reservations about the product are that there can be a big learning curve for account admins, and you need to be able to dedicate a lot of time to it in the beginning. We also did not have enough of our performance management system established to make the best use of our onboarding team because we weren't sure what we wanted, which isn't the fault of CP, but a word of caution to others that it would be wise to have a good structure in place before making the jump to a system like this. The ClearPoint Strategy technology solution is an excellent product with superior support. Implementation of this user-friendly product has been intuitive throughout our onboarding experience. As new users, our employees have been very pleased with the funcitionality and features, including the personalized workspaces for KPIs and initiatives for which they are responsible. The interconnectivity of the chat function within the application and our email system is convenient and easy to use. Of particular interest has been the built-in flexibility to build the Level 1 enterprise scorecard with the options to build out departmental scorecards, as needed (levels 2, 3, etc.). The ability to roll data up, push data down, or extract it from our data integration processes depending on the KPI is extremely convenient. One of the reasons for selecting ClearPoint Strategies solution was their strategy success framework for launching implementation, which has enabled us to to evaluate our own existing corporate strategy and where we are as a company in the strategy maturity process. ClearPoint streamlined our stagetic planning process! The onboarding team (specifically Marissa) made understanding how to utilize the software simple. I love the ability to see all of our data at a glance with easy-to-understand visual repesentations. Our reporting structure for meetings is now SO much easier as well! The only thing I dislike about the software is the milestone evaluation process. I'd prefer for the completion percentage to be evaluated based on # of milestones completed as opposed to basing completion on milestone deadline dates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While ClearPoint Strategy is great for tracking goals and performance, the user interface feels a bit outdated and could be more intuitive. Some features require a learning curve, especially for new users, and customizing reports can sometimes be tricky without additional support. Additionally, integration with third-party tools could be smoother to improve workflow automation. Despite these minor drawbacks, it remains a powerful tool for strategic planning. As a new user of ClearPoint, Andrew Middleton has been extremely helpful as our main point of contact in navigating the many functions of the platform. He has helped us maximize our utilization to best serve our organization and make it as user-friendly as possible for our colleagues who are reporting data. We have been able to accurately and easily track progress towards annual measures we set at the beginning of each fiscal year. One of my favorite functions of ClearPoint is the ability to rewatch meeting recordings which are saved in the “Success Portal”. As with many platforms, ClearPoint does have many functions that are not well-known unless you actively seek them out specifically. Once you learn all of the things it can do, it is quite user friendly. However, it is a continuous learning process as someone who doesn’t have advanced technical skills. This isn't so much as a dislike but my own time management issue. ClearPoint is always improving and it can be a bit much to keep up to date with all the new improvements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing I liked was the since of building a relationship with us and not saying here is the application and best of luck. The other thing was when we ran into issues they were addressed fast and in a mutual manner. No finger pointing happend. The last a biggest "like" is simply the ease of use as the application is very intutitive to use after a little poking around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly there are no downsides at this moment, however as a suggestion from a project management standpoint I would say this. I think sticking to or reinforcing the onboarding process with the "Sucess Portal" could have been pushed a little more. While we woked directly with Ted who was amazing I feel the sucess portal could have been leveraged a little more to help keep a structured approach to things. It can be a little difficult to get everything to appear as I'd like, but the team has helped me resolve some of that. I also don't love how when you open a Measure tab from the Default scorecard page or search for a specific owner, the Default list will reset every time instead of keeping its place.
