What do you like best about Circle?

Circle provides an incredible amount of customization for your community and courses. You can design a member experience that isn't overwhelming, confusing, or generic. I've tried several membership and course platforms, and Circle has been by far the best. Additionally, their customer service is fantastic. Always friendly, quick and eager to resolve hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I have to admit it feels a little on the pricey side. But I've noticed other platforms bumping up their prices too, so it's still competitive. That said, you have to know you're going to bring in enough revenue to justify the cost. There are a few drawbacks to plan levels - like limiting the number of spaces, workflows, etc that would require you to purchase add-ons for more. Plus, they do take a percentage of sales (percentage depends on your plan level). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I needed a place to host my membership community that would have the most customization and tools to keep members engaged. The mobile app is fantastic, and the community layout itself is intuitive to use. As an administrator, the customization options and the automation options are really the next level for being able to engage members. On the courses side, while there are still some basics that need to be added in to make it competitive with other platforms, I've been amazed at the speed at which Circle is making updates and improvements. It's always just a matter of time before they've suddenly added something you'd been hoping to have. really awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

We moved onto Circle after trying many platforms to be able to have our course content and community space in one space that was ours (vs a social media site or multiple platforms). It is great for our team and our customers to have access to our full set of offers in one place. They are constantly updating things- we have been on Circle for 2+ years now and many of the features we were missing when we signed up are now on Circle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

There are some limits to customizing things like your course. We really liked the way our course looked visually on our previous platform. Circles courses are a new-er offering of theirs and they have released some visuals to go along with, but I would love to be able to style the courses. I also wish we could edit peoples email addresses for typos- it is a common issue we have when people sign up. Analytics is new-er, could be better and easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Circle puts all of our information in one place for community and course content. We do not have to be on multiple platforms. This is huge for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

We launched the BossMom+ app with Circle and I couldn't be happier. I teach how to build communities and hands down Circle is my go-to.

The best tools, the best support, just the best.

I have been in communities built on Skool, Mighty, and others and they just aren't built as well as Circle.

It's very user-friendly.

Easy to integrate with tools like Zapier...although with it's new marketing feature we don't have to do much integration.

My community is using it daily and we love how the notifications, leaderboard, and announcements keep everyone engaged.

And they are always working to make it better.

Don't go with any other platform.

You can have it up and running in a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Nothing...anything that could be better, they make better. They are always improving and love user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to get off of Facebook, so we shut down our 75k group and moved to Circle. I opted to get my own BossMom+ app which they manage. We got rid of all of our course management or community tools and house it all in one place on Circle. It's made our life so much easier, but more than that it has allowed us to brand our own space that we own which has really helped the brand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

The people have been amazing to work with. The set-up team helped us pace ourselvese, giving us goals for each month and made it a manageable transition from our previous platform. Our account manager has been a huge resource for us moving forward, helping us set quarterly goals and answering any quesetions we have via email or a quick meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

We don't always know what's new and it's hard to keep up with the improvements. Our company is pretty big compared to most other "communities" so we have to work so much in the company, that it's sometimes hard to work "on" the company.

The improvements are great, and we appreciate them, we just aren't always able to implement or use them as quickly as we'd like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

It's putting "more" in one place. I love that we can go live and have meetings right in the community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

I spent nearly two years battling with MemberPress and BuddyBoss—month after month of constant headaches. Now, just three months into using Circle at the Enterprise level, and WOW—what a game-changer! Everything runs so smoothly, it's almost unbelievable. I only wish I had discovered it sooner! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

The only difficulty was migrating my old site's member comments. Everything else has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Circle is solving the endless tech headaches I faced with MemberPress and BuddyBoss—glitches, integrations breaking, and a constant struggle to make things work smoothly. With Circle, everything just works—seamless onboarding, effortless community engagement, and a streamlined experience for both me and my members. The intuitive design and automation tools save me so much time, letting me focus on delivering value instead of troubleshooting issues. It’s been a total game-changer for running my community efficiently! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

We love the ability to create separate spaces for each of our community interests. It's very easy to use and we haven't had many issues with our community, who traditionally have found new things we've introduced a struggle, as a membership association this is very important. We use it every day and the member engagement is slowly following.

The integration, using the widget, on our site is great as it feels like part of our website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

Sometimes the functionality to contact specific groups etc is limited, but it's definitely getting there. Being able to update your own email address would be great as our users often get locked out, and/or create duplicate accounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had a discussion board on our website previously, but it was limited and didn't allow for instant discussion - that is what is great about circle, conversations can go on in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

It is intuitive and user friendly for both users and admins. It uses UX similar to popular social media sites to make for an easy experience. It has great community building tools, with different formats for different content types, the ability to organize folks into different spaces and groups by topics or persona, and a very well built out event hosting capability. It has solid analytics, good customer support, and the ability to notify members of what's happening via email and push notification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

It generally serves our needs well. There are opportunities for deeper analytics or improvement of certain analytics. For example, we use Circle's tracking links to determine which events prompt folks to sign up and we learned it tracks clicks on links, not actual sign ups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

we use Circle to host a currently free, active community for our customers, helping them connect to one another, access exclusive events and resources, and discounts. For us, it helps us build deeper bonds and trust with our B2B customers and serve our mission of empowering and inspiring our industry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

I really liked how simple and clean the platform feels. It’s super easy to navigate, so I didn’t have to waste time figuring out how things work. Plus, being able to organize different groups in one place is a game-changer. It feels professional but still personal, which is perfect for building a real community. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I wish the mobile app had a few more features. It works fine for the basics, but sometimes I find myself switching to my laptop because certain things are just easier to do there. It’s not a deal-breaker, though—it’s just something I’d like to see improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Circle solves the problem of keeping a community organized and engaged. It brings everything into one place—discussions, events, and groups—so I don’t have to use multiple platforms. This makes managing my community way easier and saves me time.

Another big problem Circle solves is the need to keep members engaged with a great user experience. The platform looks clean and professional, which helps people feel comfortable and keeps them coming back. Plus, I can create different groups or segments within the same platform, which means I don’t need separate tools for different audiences.

The constant updates and improvements are also a big win. Circle’s team keeps adding features, which helps me stay ahead and offer my community even more value. All of this makes my life easier and helps my community grow stronger and more connected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

I have a multitude of options on how I wanted to create my community AND they HELP YOU ! I was able to start building quickly and easily and use it with my existing tools. I have used it daily since the first day of my 14 day trial.

Yes, I had a few questions and there are many different ways I had my questions answered: live webinars, live Zoom calls, you can ask the chatbots or email support.

I joined in the co-working sessions and was able to share my progress and was invited to a "Show and Tell Session" where I had the opportunity to share my ideas and develop my design with expert input from the fabulous Circle engagement teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

I was worried at first about Circle being the best community platform available on the market but the marketing capabilities seemed light...

Fear not, 2 weeks ago they announced the launch of the all new Marketing Hub and it looks scrumtious!

No dislikes, from this happy client ! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was struggling with using Facebook and was so despondent at losing engagement due to the complicated and convoluted features on their screens...

I tested a number of platforms and decided that Circle was the best platform for Community. It has many other features and benefits but it really is top of the class with growing communities.

My community is taking shape and loooking good. So happy with my decision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Circle?

Circle.so excels in providing an intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies community building and management. Its comprehensive suite of features—including discussion forums, event management, and seamless integrations—empowers us to create a vibrant and engaging community space. The platform's customization options allow us to align our community's appearance with our brand identity, enhancing the overall member experience. Additionally, Circle.so's responsive and knowledgeable customer support team ensures that any questions or issues are promptly addressed, contributing to a smooth and efficient user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

While Circle.so offers a comprehensive suite of features for community building, one limitation we've encountered is the unavailability of the Paywall service in Hungary. This restricts our ability to monetize our community directly through the platform. We hope that Circle.so will expand this feature to more regions in the future to better support global users. What do you like best about Circle?

Circle is an intuitive and well-designed community platform that makes it easy to build and engage with online communities. The UI is clean, modern, and user-friendly, offering seamless navigation and customization options. The integration with other tools like Zapier and Slack is also a big plus, making automation and workflow management smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Circle?

The mobile experience could be improved—it’s not as smooth as the desktop version. Also, the pricing might feel a bit high for smaller communities just starting out. Some advanced analytics features are missing, which would help community managers track engagement more effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Circle solving and how is that benefiting you?

Circle makes it easy to build and manage online communities by combining discussion forums, events, memberships, and courses in one platform. It eliminates the need for multiple tools, reducing complexity and improving engagement. The customization options also help create a branded experience without needing extensive technical skills.
